Patrick and Stuart continue their countdown until Christmas with this second Sunday of Advent special episode. After they clean and create a new work space as their temporary floral atelier, Patrick creates an arrangement for the entrance hall of the chateau. They also decorate the chateau Christmas trees and continue other decorating at the chateau for the holiday season.

Great episode guys! Patrick, you really are a whizz with the bouquets. The vase of greenery looked fabulous and then the nifty idea of putting sparkly Christmas baubles in there too!! I love it. I think the mirror actually made the greenery look thicker and fuller, so it didn't really matter that you couldn't see the mirror anymore. All of the decorations where fabulous.

You both made the chateau very dreamy with the decorations. I have always had doves and birds on my tree but as I get older I have definitely downsized. One very snowy xmas in Labrador a mom and her daughter rang my doorbell. The mom said she hD to stop and tell that they have been driving by my house for a few weeks and her daughter each time would say mommy look at the gingerbread house. My two front doors were dressed with fresh bows and the whole house and trees in the yard and fence were all white lights. Well, I was so touched that I lightened this little child's heart. Luckily I had an extra Teddybear to give her and she was delighted. I had rich Christmases and very poor ones especially when I was in training for an RN which in a one time all female profession back in my day was not easy for men. Thank goodness times have changed and I have had a help in making some changes. My point is, I always treasured the poorest of Christmases because they were my riches Christmases ever. I am so happy for you both and I am enjoying your vlogs. Looking forward to those baking vlogs Patrick. 😊

I'm laughing already! Patrick closing the door on us, sweeping the debris right out the door saying "good bye"! Wow, you are spot on with your flower arranging....love the natural "big" look! Love the garland down the staircase. Beautifully decorated trees and the gate...wow!!! You both have such good taste! Love it all, music too!

The stairwell is gorgeous, as well as the Christmas trees, other wreaths, inside and out, floral arrangements, and the beautiful hanging arrangement in the hallway!! It was really fun to watch you guys decorate. Love the arrangement you made Patrick. The tree with the doves is precious and the wreaths on the doors beautiful. 🎄I LOVE decorating! Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. For the last few weeks, I have been busy making a centerpiece and decorations to decorate a table at my church. I broke the traditional mold of red, green, etc. 😳 I found a white wreath (not made of greenery but with thin sticks…almost like a bottle brush) with random pearls on some of the ends. I put a styrofoam disc in the center, covered it with a gray moss, the put 2 medium sized white fur owls (mom & dad…😉) and 2 small silver glitter and 2 gray velvet (their “babies”…🥰) in the middle like a family of owls. I attached metallic turquoise, glitter turquoise, and silver ornaments in 4 places with turquoise poinsettias in 4 places. On each side of the wreath was a Mercury glass votive holder with fairy lights, 2 flat floral picks (in white, silver, and turquoise), a white bottle brush tree, and a Mercury glass pillar candle holder with a 6” turquoise LED candle. The gift was… cute silver glitter or gray velvet owls…some small and some bigger on dowels which I cut off all but 1/2-3/4” and after drilling a hole in a half piece of branch (3” long by 1/2” wide and 3/4” deep) I glued them in. Then used Snow Tex to put “snow”over the branch in random areas. The place card holder was the same branch with snow on and I cut a slit in the top for the name card. The event was last night and everyone that saw the finished decorated table was amazed. I’m doing it again in a few weeks but this time it will be a round table so I need to adjust for that. Crafting is my stress relief and happy place. It looks like you guys enjoy it too by the beautiful decorations you have put up. Can’t wait for the next video!🍷🎄💜🙏

Afternoon Patrick & Stuart, I love all the decorations, the flower arrangement looks so smart and the glitter balls inside just made it come together! My favourite tree is the one next to the baby grand piano, it's gorgeous and dresses the room!! The hallway is stunning, love the mistletoe ball and the dove just brings everything to perfection. Love the dimly lights it's beautiful. So glad you are having a great time decorating and enjoying your works, nothing to end it off with a glass of wine. Will see what happens on Wednesday. The two of you make such a great team. Lovely, lovely, lovely! If there is heat in the atelier and working plumbing, people would rent it. I think there is a Chateau that does this. They are working through their renovations and the rooms they haven’t done are beautifully furnished and leased out. (Shabby Chic)

I don't have the energy for a real tree and nowhere to store a plastic one when not in use (storage must be one of the major joys of living in a chateau!) but I will have fresh flowers towards mid-December. We had the grandkids since Friday helping us to get decorations ready for Christmas. They just left and I'm exhausted. Lol. Time to grab a cup of coffee and relax watching your video. Lovely as always. ❤ I actually have a section of my laundry room dedicated as my floral studio. Shelves for my vases, foam, ribbons, wire, gold spray paint and reusable stuff, like pine cones, dried berries, twigs, pussy willow, etc. Plus a nice big workbench. Fresh flowers are a must in any fabulous home. Hugs to you both. ❤❤

I am very envious of your atelier. We use totally natural decorations inside and out so I delay creating things until a little later. I have 4 wreaths to make and an indoor atelier would be delightful. I usually work outside as it is a little messy. Last year some friends got together and we made a wreath together outside and my husband lit the outdoor fire so we could warm up and celebrate our creations with mulled wine and mince pies. Very enjoyable but would have been perfect in your atelier. Loved your large arrangement using foraged greens. First Christmas at the chateau is lining up to be special.

That Christmas bouquet is gorgeous!!! And that entrance hall....Ohhh Myyyy Lifeeee. It is stunning oh I can imagine walking into that hallway and just being in awe 😍😍😍. Well, Patrick, you have inspired me to forage a couple of cedar branches from the back yard and bring them in to our home for color and smell. No tree this year, but a reasonable facsimile will do. As almost everyone else has already mentioned, I also love your decorations.

Christmas is just so Magical at your home the decorations are so wonderful. You both have an eye for detail. Loving the trees, wreaths, floral decorations everything really. Even though I know mistletoe is an invasive parasitic...it is still so pretty and endearing and I'm envious that you have easy access to it. The chateau is looking joyful and festive. Patrick, I enjoy flower arranging and grow quite an extensive array of flowers, fillers and foliage (Maine) but am in awe of the lovely arrangements you create. It must be fun scaling up to chateau proportions.
