Welcome to Camp Cookout Adventures!
Join me for a nights wild camping in a bluebell woodland, trying out the DD camping hammock. We cover a bit of rope and tarp setting for additional shelter and prepare some delicious crispy belly pork ramen using the Trangia 27 cook set. It's a great time so come along and join in the adventure!

I'm not sure I'd have had the faith in the weather you had there! But I LOVE the idea of a hammock in the woods! Another cracking episode!

Another great video, probably don't need to upgrade your sleeping bag, but need an underquilt/blanket. Basically just a shaped blanket that goes outside the hammock, so doesn't get compressed.

Thanks Kenton. I can’t complain as the hammock was only £27. Was mega impressed with the quality of it compared to its price. It’s difficult because I’m trying to sort a super light load out for a multi day camp. Need to research a very small compact insulating blanket. Don’t get me wrong, it was fine, but could be a lot better for not much.

@@CampcookoutadventuresI've been hammock camping for years now and my go to blanket is the snugpak jungle blanket, or alternatively you can get the snugpak jungle bag which you can use as a blanket or sleeping bag and its pretty light at only 700 grams or 900 grams for the xl

MIght I just state - i nearly left this channel for two reasons - 1. content 2. timing....but this is back to back EXCELLENT VIDEOS. Wowaw well done Sam a great review of a fine produc t, I still use my pop pop's 70+ yr old hammock that he hung many moons ago and it is still the besT n ights sleep that I ever get! im very exciting to see your gammon setup going forwards and now you must purchase a fishing rod as you cant eat belly bpork forever hahaha! Fine work again and excellent to see you camping and filming camping again all the best from across the pond p.s where is the Chevvy!

Great video. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. The food looked the business. Never trust anyone who doesn't like belly of pork. Regarding your hammock, you're probably need to invest in an underquilt specially made for hammocks. (Subbed!)

Thanks for watching Steve and I really appreciate the subscription support. I am definitely going to research the best lightweight and small pack down under blanket for the hammock. It’s a really nice lightweight and compact camping system. A friend has suggested a hammock specific sleeping bag (zip up the middle) so with a few tweaks I bet we can get this load out just right! Cheers for commenting, good to hear from you. All the best
