Adventure Mode is an animated comedy series about a human (Norman Newbie) who discovers that the savage monsters of Minecraft might not be as savage as he thought. The gang of misfits, made up of Norman, Bonehead (a not-so-evil skeleton scientist), Bubbles (an explosive, but well meaning creeper) and Stiffany (a very protective vegan zombie) embark on insane misadventures throughout their world as an evil force threatens them from afar...

A bit too chaotic at times, but the scene with the chainsaw, Norman trying to press the Iron Golem button and the mob grinder were comedy gold. Plus, I loved the chemistry between the characters and the cliffhanger. Not to mention, this is just the pilot so this can all be improved as you release new episodes.

I (Micah, co-director) actually agree that it kinda turned out pretty chaotic xD If I had the bandwidth I would have loved to make the episode longer and give more time to let scenes breath and explore the characters' dynamics! I was a bit neutral going into it, but I’m glad to say I really enjoyed it. There weren’t many jokes that I didn’t at least somewhat enjoy and I found myself laughing out loud to a few of them. The characters are fun and likable, the plot is somewhat predictable yet still charming. I liked the main character more then I thought I would, it’s easy to make that type of character annoying but you really succeeded in making him enjoyable. The voice acting and animation is amazing. Many others have pointed this out, and while it didn’t bug me I think this series would largely benefit from slowing down a tad, maybe with some more runtime so it doesn’t have to be gogogoing, though I understand that might be difficult to do in a comedy series. Overall I loved the episode and I’m interested to see where you take this story and it’s characters. Looking forward to episode 2!

how do you like norman in this pilot? he's so annoying and cringe that i rather him not exist. i sometimes love annoying characters, but not ones who are over the top annoying like pilot norman, I'm hoping that norman changes alot in the process of this show, and hope they find better jokes than 'high pitched screaming, weird sounds and looking and sounding like the character had too many energy drinks'.

@@JustAnotherPerson275 orrrr maybe they should consider changing it, so that people with better humor tastes (aka WAY MORE PEOPLE) like the show as well? they want this show to be successful right, a pilot usually always is just a concept of what it could be. changes are good for the success in your project if many don't like it. that's the great thing about pilots, is that you can take into consideration what problems it has, and find ways to make the show overall better, instead of rush making the show.

Uhhhh... The animation style is extremely high quality and beautiful. The voice acting is fine. The characters are likable. In some scenes, the meme sounds is funny, and in some scenes, they were cringe. But it's a pretty good start for the pilot episode. I hope we see more.

love the chaotic feel of it, kind of has it owns charm and sets it a bit different from others in a weird way? Unlike other times where embarrassing moments or some parts make me want to skip, the comedic feel of this made me watch the entire thing so good job And I hope for more episodes later

MANNN They sold the story so well! I'm definitely looking forward to the next one. The quality and style is at peak! Is it me or is it lore...? at the beginning it flashes with bubbles dead and with something says like "Strongman", witch is Norman's last name and weird man, maybe it looks like a new character for the next episode. above the new man it says "STEPS ON" and with an army of iron golems, witch I did seen in the first glitch/flash, at the final flash is the fire spreading. I know the green Gaurds have green glowing glasses using their weird thing with acid to kill the players so they would be banned from the server. And the guys surrounding Norman look little bit like squid game gaurds. Fading in at the end of the pilot we see his boss smiling. What will you think will happen next in next episode? Stay tuned and find out in episode 2.

Even a pilot can have a little more time put into it, look at pilots from shows like adventure time or even web series like hazbin hotel, they introduce the characters in a timely t and give a fair look at the world you’ll see throughout show etc jist basically gives people time to understand what they should expect before getting into anything big This just kind of threw everything in at once without thought

This is probably the fastest paced pilot I’ve ever seen, and I watched a lot of quick animations like Hazbin Hotel. The only gripe with it is that it could use some slowdown at its more emotional moments. Besides that, good pilot! Gave me a lot of laughs I didn’t expect!

Great Characters, Great Plot, Great Pilot. The only Issue I have with it is pacing. Things Happening too fast and not giving room to breathe if that makes sense. I would make future episodes maybe 20 Minutes Long, which would take longer but would allow for better episodes overall.

My favorite character has to be a Bubbles, I mean she is just so adorable! Added by the fact that Creepers are my all time favorite Minecraft mob, it’s a 100/10 character for me. But god is probably the best indie Minecraft animation I have EVER seen! I mean the cliffhanger?There is so much I love about it! The character animations look so close to vanilla Minecraft it makes it soooo good, and the characters themselves have all really great designs too! I really want to see this continue and I have no doubt that this will become an incredibly great series! Something I do want to point out is the pacing, but I’m sure other people have pointed that out. But man it’s only the pilot and tho I had a bit of doubt, I am TOTALLY invested! Love it!

I both hate and love this at the same time, this feels so goddamn corporate and targetted towards children with its fast paced humor but god damn the characters(specifically Bonehead, Bubbles and Meep) make it... somewhat worth it. Actually, very worth it, I'm probably going to watch this for them and only them

The animation was really good. The music and sounds were hilariously fitting. The story is very by-the-numbers, and the comedy is very telegraphed and commonly seen before. Overall, I like it, but I don't know if I'll want to watch more without improvements to the writing.

I was smiling the entire time. Chaos humor was a really nice change of pace than dark humor or in most of the indie pilots nowadays- It got the minecraft vibe on point in my opinion! "Why are you saving me?!" "Why does it matter?!" That was a real breath of fresh air for a trope like that! Sure the story could use a bit of tweaking, but for what the thing is, it's spot on!

Okay that iron golem is a straight up robot instead of a guardian humanoid-iron sentient being so its programming is just eliminating all mobs and traitors or sometimes kidnap those said mobs and traitors.
