I’m going to try this one. I love adventure time. I’m willing to overlook the flaws because it’s adventure time. These adventure games have been getting better with each installment. I hope that trend continues, as I would love to see a highly polished, fun, long, open world exploration game with these characters.

The difference between you guys and IGN is because you guys take time and appreciate the game and you care about your fans in your content IGN treats their content like a business nothing more nothing less it's how they get money they care about your subscribers cuz they make the money not about their personal enjoyment and about the game you guys do your job and do it well and do more than you have to do that's the difference

JESUS!! I watched the IGN review of this game and it deterred me from buying it for a while. I was still captivated by the art style of the game so I decided to check it out at GameStop. They had it on sale for $10 cheaper than the eShop. I honestly think it's worth it if you're an adventure Time fan. Even if you're not that big a fan of RPGs in general. My only wish is that the team that made Breath of the Wild made every single game I buy now.

I love the show! The game looks amazing and it certainly deserves to be on the switch!

I just bought the game and yes those bugs are killing me even though I do am a big fan of adventure time. Hope they will fix it soon.

I really love the show, and this game looks pretty interesting and seems to be a fairly fun game. I'll check it out one day once i get some money for it

i think with this title , you played it so i dont have too. im not prepared to drop 35 quid on a title with so little optimisation. if the port devs cant be bothered neither can i. so maybe a purchase once its been discounted. cracking review, i love the breakdown you guys give it. a very fair review system where no game can run or hide. and as for ign .. im not gonna say anything except im glad your not ign reviewers...thats why im watching your reviews!

Good review ! I think this game is for kids/beginners or for fans of the show If you are an expert/experienced gamer without watching the show, you might find this game lacking. It is a good game for the right players

I've never seen the show, but after hearing the Bacon Pancakes remix, I am really curious about it.

The music for the interrogation sequences made me fall in love with "noir crime drama" style music and now it's a part of my every day decompression mix.

I bought this day one with Touhou (hope you guys review that one too) because I didn't even know this was coming out physical. I knew this was going to be a game I would really enjoy so that's why I got it. As for your review, you actually go in depth where as IGN basically said "I didn't care for it, I'm listing very little reasons why and that's your review". I hope they can address the bugs you mentioned soon because those look very annoying and the result of a rushed game rather than that being the absolute best they could do.

I couldn't have said it better, personally, I do know the series, even if I don't really watch it often, but my main problem is that the game depends almost purely on the funny nature of the series and whacky stories it usually has, this game being not an exception. I played the game that came for the 3ds a few years back and my review was pretty much the same as yours, with less bugs, but more backtracking and no voice acting in general. Even if they do patch many of the bugs this game has, it still doesn't feel very convinicing on the gameplay and value, especially when you can get 2 great games with those 40 dollars or even a good physical game. I've never been a fan of RPGs, but letting that aside, it is very entertaining watching as the characters fight, again, because of the funny nature of everything around the world of... Ooo, was it? Anyway, it's satisfying to a degree and decent enough, but this is a formula that either a fan of the series or a small child would appreciate more overall, especially on those interrogation parts, since it's virtually imposible to lose this game as long as you're older than 7 or so years. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the game, the environment fits so well together, it's like controlling a cartoon movie at times, but I prefer to watch it on a walkthrough. P.S: 7.3/10 (interesting, even if it's not my cup of tea) K.O.S: 6.7/10 (you won't regret it if you look for good style and a couple of good laughs, but don't expect a challenging experience, perhaps charming)

The game idea I feel is very good, but the loading screens are too long, it crashes too often, and it pauses to load at some very odd times.

I just watched the ign review before this one.They mentioned everything but 'cash used to upgrade' (wich frankly is the kind of detail most reviews don't get into, the minutae)- they went over everything (just quickly) and actually some more- since you didn't mention how characters help in traversal or that there are puzzles, things ign included. Then on the most important points like gameplay and story you gave the game 14/20- roughly equivalent to 5.1 or 5.2 out of 10, wich is lower then ign's score. Ign fails a lot but frankly this felt ill placed and ironically almost the opposite (the one thing they didn't mention matters less then the 2 things you didn't). Im confused. its alright to reach a second score despite the low impression from story and gameplay- feel, charm and etc can win someone over more. But your score felt contrary to the impression you gave for most of the review and claiming those contradictions also not cool. I do apreciate the proper review tough, in terms of lengh over each thing- give how simple the game is ign's rushed video for once was fitting, but its still better to see a proper video rather then a 3min one.

So, you gave it a 6.9 basically. I would say IGN giving it such a low score is a valid one. From some of your reviews, you tend to be a little too nice and a little too positive, which is to be expected but a little bias tends to add a point here and there and with some of the issues this game has, they should have been punished more. Its imo £10 too expensive. I think it would have been better at the £19.99 - £24.99 range.

Because ign is paid and bias if you don’t pay them enough that is why alot of people don’t like there review if you gave them tons of money they will give a good review even if the game sucks

Your scores only make sense if you take out 10 points from both sides making it a 10/10 system. Otherwise you're way too generous even with shit games like this. Your Score: Story: 14, Gameplay: 14, Sound 15, Value 12 Total: 69% Actual score (Taking out 50 points given basically for free because you're too much of a nice guy) Story: 4, Gameplay: 4, Sound 5, Value 2 Total: 38%

The game is not good, there's no polish and it's filled to the brim with just that, filler. You like mindlessly driving around and doing useless stuff this is the game for you. More than half of the game was not combat and not fun.
