Your joy is so contagious. And that sweater looks great. I know that melancholic feeling after finishing a big project, those tricky moments of letting go and starting anew.

Thank you so much! That’s the feeling for sure!

Congratulations on your new sweater, it really looks lovely and you can be proud of yourself👍😄 Thank you for sharing your journey with knitting sweaters, and cardigans which you are not happy with. I've knitted one sweater myself and I only wear it at home and still struggling to knit my first - to be proud of and be worn outside garment, so your joy is my motivation to keep knitting 😃😃

The sweater looks amazing! I’m in awe of your talent. Knitting sounds fun in theory but with two cats I’m not sure yarn would survive 😂.

I know nothing about knitting, but seen you knit and create things is so relaxing! I felt that way when you talked about journaling as well so I guess is the way you show how interesting and enjoyable a simple live can be. I think that internet and social media made things so intense and hard than live should've been. Thank you for sharing your life with us! Yopur channel is one of my favourites right now!

If you really won’t wear the previous sweaters, take them apart and reuse the yarn. Your new sweater looks great! Congratulations!

It looks amazing! A tip for when you’re doing sleeves or are far along on the body - put your sweater into a big mixing bowl. I try to find a shallow wide one. You can turn the bowl in your lap back and forth so as not to twist the yarn, and it keeps the weight off your wrists. It’s very handy!
@ramonafirehorse5 ай бұрын
Actually the bowl you washed it in is the shape I was talking about. And the socks turned out great too!

Oh, wow, your last weekend sounds so difficult! I'm sorry you went through that. YAY for the sweater!!! It looks amazing! While watching videos of you working on it, I decided I might try to make one myself, though it's more complicated than anything I've ever attempted before.

Yore sweater is beautiful! I also love to knit and found the Chiagoo Twist Shorties to be a game changer for small circumference knitting! I bought the blue set (sizes 2-8)but I think they sell them separately if you want to give them a try.

Alicia, I have been wanting to get in touch with you for ages and this just made me reach out immediately! Congrats on the Halibut! It’s beautiful and the fit is perfect! I also LOVE Caitlin Hunters designs and have bought the yarn to make the Baltian sweater… anyway you mentioned making another, I would love to chat to you about what you’re gonna choose and maybe we could do a knit together. Anyway, I will get in touch directly. I still have a postcard I was meant to send to you ages ago of my Blundstone boot drawing… so sorry! Ps. We have soooo many hobbies in common it’s crazy!

Hello!!! Thank you for reaching out! I’d love to chat about sweater making and plans! Caitlin Hunter might by my favorite designer right now. A knit together would be fun!

Congratulations, your sweater looks amazing! I was wondering (I don't know much about knittting) couldn't you just unravel the other projects that don't fit and make something else from them? Thanks for sharing, Alicia.

Well done! To reign in the loose hem, you can run 2 or 3 rounds of elastic thread through the ribbed area like you did on your hat. Happy Knitting 🐑🎼🧶

I really love that color on you. It’s really flattering. I think having a little room will be helpful if you want to wear like thermals underneath without stretching out the sweater too much. I can see your confidence expanding with every knit you do. Keep going, excited for your next.

Sorry to hear about the water heater, wash machine and back up of sewage! I’ve had the backup before too and was just glad it was mine and not the whole neighborhoods (we have a septic tank)! Have you had a lot of rain?? If you have a septic tank, it may need pumping by a professional. Cute sweater!!!
@adventuredenali5 ай бұрын
It was funny that it all happened in the one weekend. We’re grateful for mostly fixing all of it. The backup was caused by tree roots in our old steel pipes. We had someone come out and root them out to clear the blockage.
@msstacey7775 ай бұрын
@@adventuredenali glad it was all fixed. Is that what they call Murphys Law?? We don’t realize how important some things are until they break and stop working. I’m surrounded by trees and I’m sure I have some roots interfering with my drain field as well for my septic system.
