I just love your videos, so uplifting, yet calming. Congrats on the sweater - it’s beautiful! I can’t imagine how difficult knitting an actual image would be. I am obsessed with knitting socks thanks to you, and once I’m done with the two pairs I’m currently knitting, I will definitely try The Farmer’s Daughter sock yarn. Loving following you doing the Sock Squad!

Thank you for your inspiring and lovely video! 🤩I love the idea of a socks subscription, and the colour inspirations from paintings are beautiful. Oh, Denali, you've inspired me to knit socks, and now I feel that I need a tool roll too. I've ordered a whole bunch of double-pointed needles, and they definitely deserve to be kept in order 😄

I am very close to buying this pattern and some Spincycle yarns to follow your lead! I've never made a sweater before, but that's a cute pattern and I think I can at least try to learn short rows now. Only thing stopping me is my other WIP!

You know you can try your socks on as you go, right? It’s easiest with magic loop but you can do it with dpns if you’re careful. Since so many factors can affect your gauge, it’s helpful to tweak as you knit. I start with my basic numbers but then might adjust if I find the fabric is working up a little differently. Your sweater is beautiful! You’ve come such a long way in such a short period of time. Truly excellent work.

Haha of course! And I do try them on as I go, but socks stretch and wear, and with boots often I find if there isn’t enough length, they creep down below the ankle. So, even if in theory they’re long enough, once actually being worn, it’s a different story.

Why not use magic loop for the sleeves. They’re less likely to be tight or use shorter cable needle and knit them in the round. Sweater is gorgeous!

Simply because I prefer dpns. I’ve now knit one sleeve, used dpns and the fit is great! So I’ve passed the hurdle. :)
