It's unfortunate that you lost the footage, but fortunately gyildwars 2 has lots of fun and challenging things in booth single and multipler so there will be be tons of other things for the audience to look forwards to.

That boss fight is tough but yeah it's optional. There's an achievement, if you manage it. If you use a pet class like Ranger, Necromancer or Engineer(Mechanist) you can let your pets/minions/mech tank the boss and wear him down from a safe distance.

As you can tell, combat is starting to ramp up! It gets progressively more challenging from here on out, though you are managing it well. Now may be a good time to further examine your utilities. You've been liking "Hold the line" which is stun break, getting you out of CC'd conditions like knockdowns. I encourage you to try "advance" as well, which is also a stun break. Advance also gives you swiftness (faster movement speed) and aegis (one free block). The guardian class is unique because it has a low health pool, but lots of access to blocks and aegis. If you want to try advance, I recomend replacing the burn circle, as buring won't do too much damage unless you're wearing condition gear. Additionally, if you want to get even more fancy, try expirementing more with combo fields! For example, on your greatsword, you'll do more damage if you place your 4 skill first, then use the 2 skill to spin around inside the symbol you placed down. A bunch of weapon and utility skills interact this way. When you hover over, you'll see "combo field" which is something that's placed on the ground (there are different types), and "combo finisher" which interacts with fields. Greatsword 2 does a whirl, making projectiles as you spin around. Greatsword 3 is a leap, giving you a buff when you leap though the field. Try it out!

You've reached the point where the quality of the story will start increasing, from Living World Season 2 into the Heart of Thorns. That is where the game started going next level in map, story and Meta Event design. By the time they released Path of Fire, WoW started blatantly copying their designs and I fully believe that they indeed surpassed Blizzard in quality and innovation, regardless of the poor marketing presence of GW2. Nonexistent advertising only meant that not as many people got to see it, though that got fixed with the Steam release and incline in trending in latest years. Which they fully deserve. This game, for its cheap price and fair monetization model, offers incredible amount of content that takes a literal year just to explore. It takes months alone to properly learn the combat, stat and gear mechanics on a veteran level regardless of how adaptive you are. Massive game for real. I'm shilling out of passion, it kept me fully entertained for 8 years it's worth every cent

There's a utility enhancement potion that you can use to fight against Scarlett's armies called, "powerful potion of slaying against Scarlett's armies". You mentioned that you might start to venture into dungeons and there's a fractal dungeon based on this story chapter called "Nightmare". the potion can be used for that fight as well. you are kind of choosing hard mode for yourself... the scepter is a pretty strong range weapon for guards so if you had one you could swap out sword for battles where you cant manfight the boss
