Aw, the Marionette! Has to be one of my fave group events from Living World when it was coming out live and changing the maps in real time. Since the open world event was a fairly stiff group effort, the chance of failure was real. Trying was great fun, though. They heavily mod the event for solo story play, so I hope you get to do the Marionette battle as a group event someday; they still have an instanced version on a timer that you can enter once you open up Eye of the North through Living World progression. Had to smile when you commented that there was plenty to explore even though you're max level. As a veteran, I'll hint that the game actually *begins* once you reach 80. ;) Anyway, great fun as always! I look forward to your continuing adventures!

1:11 'I mean there is still so much more for me to learn about this game even though I'm max level, I've been playing through this story for a while. there is so much to learn and to explore so...' how true. getting to lv80 (max since release in 2012) should be considered as *extended tutorial* in order to get to know the game mechanics and get more acquainted with your chosen class. you have vast experience with many other games (including MMOs) and it shows in how you play your guardian and in your movements. you need far less training than most other new players to GW2. however, there is still so much more for you to explore and learn about the game. I hope you stick around long enough to experience what the game truly has to offer. you just scratched the surface. your guardian alone offers so much more with the Dragonhunter, Firebrand and Willbender specialisations, not to mention the freedom offered by 'weaponmaster training' or the other game sections in sPvP, openPvP (WvW) or endgame content like Fractals, Strikes, Convergences or Raids. hope you have lots of fun exploring the game. 👍

the twisted marrionette can also be fought as a group. I don't remember if you can start it in lornars pass or if you have to head to the eye of the north to enter. sometimes you'll find groups on the lfg looking to do it. you can wiki "twisted marionette" to find when the event goes on.
