The amazing thing is that my observations of the small treasures in each region only scratch the surface... I would need a whole lifetime in each location to really understand all the complexities that are happening. It's a humbling feeling!

Oh to be a tiny spider riding along my trusty slug steed! Love this, and I totally may or may not be heading into the forest soon to take in all of the tiny details.

Also very much agree with the “not feeling experienced enough” to take on a certain project. I recently got to illustrate a childrens book and had some imposter syndrome but as you said, instead of focusing on my limitations, I focused on my curiosity and saw where it could take me ✌🏻

I love this so much! It is absolutely true that nature reveals itself in moments! 100% about following your curiosity. And it is encouraging to hear an artist I admire feels sometimes intimidated as well 💚 I’d love to see what you find if you make your way across the continent to the west coast, Rosalie! And what was that orange goo-ball that you poked??
