I’m 15 years old and I watched this video with pure joy, I am ready to change and become a better person and a better Christian

I am a baby Christian. I was an atheist earlier this year and I’d get so mad at other people when they’d preach the Gospel or pray for me. I feel so shameful of it all, looking back. Since I became a Christian, and started seeing the Holy Spirit working within me, I just look back on all those times and I’m so incredibly embarrassed. I spent many years as an atheist, going down every possible road to explain existence, and finding no answer in science that didn’t also require blind faith. God is the only logical explanation for reality and our existence in it, and I know it’s the Christian God because I prayed once to God on a particularly rough night. I was desperate and I just cried out and said, “God, if you’re real, if you care about me at all, you see what I’m going through. I need you now more than ever. If you will give me some sign that you exist, then I will devote my entire life to you.” The next day at work, this complete and utter stranger I had never seen before, turned to me and said, “hey man, if you ever want to talk spiritual matters, I’d be happy to.” I immediately took his number down, ignoring a line of customers in the process. And we started meeting regularly. I knew this was the sign I had prayed for, and that God had spoken through this man, but I still had questions and doubts and I didn’t have much hope. This man listened to all my problems, he comforted me when I cried countless times over the course of our meetings, and each time I needed advice he’d quote a verse from the Bible that seemed to directly apply to me. I still had some doubts about the veracity of the Bible, but I saw something in this man that told me maybe there was something to this whole Christianity thing. I recognize it now as the Holy Spirit. So I began checking the Bible out. I’d spend hours reading Scripture, listening to Christian videos on KZfaq and then praying to God for help. After reading countless times, and often seeing words seem to jump off the page at me, as if God Himself was showing me something, I decided to devote my life to Him. I cried out once more, apologizing for every sin I could possibly think of, dating back all the way to childhood. I asked for forgiveness, and guidance, and for God to come into my life and help me. I promised I’d do whatever His will for me was, no matter what, all He’d have to do is say the word and I would do it. It’s been only about 6 months, but I’ve already grown so much in Christ now that I really think of it. And while not everything is perfect, my life has improved vastly since that night. I quit smoking and drinking-prayed to be delivered from my addictions and literally lost the desire _overnight,_ and I stopped being so depressed and angry. I started loving people more, appreciating God’s creation more, and I just became so much happier overall. I even found a new job out of the blue as an electrician, the only job I had ever enjoyed, which I totally didn’t expect because I had done it before and screwed up and didn’t think I’d ever get a second chance at it. Now things are just steadily getting better and more hopeful for me, the more I try to grow closer to God and focus on Him. I think lately I’ve been feeling a call to evangelism and apologetics, I think that might be a part of God’s plan for me. I genuinely believe that God uses evil for good, and that the evil the enemy had planned to destroy my life with has instead become fuel for my fire for Christ. Instead of crushing me and destroying me, it has now become part of my testimony, and I feel like I can use it to reach a lot of non-believers. I also feel like due to all my research over the years, I can personally understand the perspective of an atheist, and I can offer counterpoints from the flip side of the coin that they might never have heard before. I feel like God has decided to use all my bad experiences to make me a powerful testimony to non-believers, a testament to His goodness and His mercy, His grace and His love. Praise the Lord!🥹❤️

I was baptized at 11 but didn’t began my journey as a Christian until I got re baptized in my 20’s . The thing I struggled with Is when I feel that God has put a word in my heart I have a difficult time explaining the word , I think God has been calling me into ministry and I’m trying each day to get better at reading my Bible , spending that time with God and seeking him . I am now Born Again and I will NEVER go back to ignorance of atheistic insanity. i am rock-solid on fire for Jesus now. And this video was nice welcome back advise. I was 1 minute into this video when I felt the overwhelming need to drop down to my knees and pray to God SINCERELY for the first time. Nothing bad is going on in my life right now yet the tears were flowing and I felt so strongly that God was really hearing me. I have gone back and forth with Christianity (always lukewarm on my end) and for some reason I thought to search “new to Christianity” today and your video is the first one I clicked. You radiate peace and kindness and it made me think “if that’s what God does to a person, I want to know God”. Maybe it sounds insane that all it took was hearing you speak for 1 minute but wow, you really blessed me today and I feel in the depths of my soul that something changed in me today, in the best way possible. Hey there, my husband just gave his life to Christ One day ago he was an atheist and I pray for him 8 years and glory to god he told me he wanted to accept Jesus as his lord and savior glory to GOD. One hour after that we almost got into a bad accident and then the whole day it felt like we were under attack including him & it went on the next day randomly car almost hitting us. he does say he feels different and sees everything different. Since last year, I have started to join my sis on her church service. This weekend, i will be taking up courage to go to our local Church as an individual for their physical worship service. Today on April 19,2023 ( I am 13 btw) I was sitting in gym class and I had my friends phone and I was looking through the camera role and I found 2 pictures that stood out to me! they were both of the same thing but they bot just really stuck out. In the pictures it was a babible it had a lot of stuff highlighted then there was a notebook with a ton of notes and I immediately knew what it somewhat inspired me to do the same and to become closer to God. SO when I got home I grabbed an notebook , my bible, and my little book that has like devotions in it and when to youtube and found this video!

Hi I’m 14 turning 15 I have just started to give my heart to God I’m struggling majorly but still trying my best to have my heart 100% to Jesus Christ, my dad is an agnostic and my mums atheist so a bible in my house and believing in Christ has been quite tough as though I can’t entirely go to church or talking about it with any family as none believe in him, I met a boy a year or so ago and that is when he started to change my life I believe he is a true angel sent from God I fell in love with this beautiful boy hard to believe as I’m still extremely young but he is my best friend and he has shown me everything about God and helped me, This video is so helpful especially for me a new Christian I pray every single night and when I skip i night I dread with guilt I have to pray again and again until the guilt leaves thank u so much for this video i am struggling to hear the voice of God but believe he is with me every single second and I don’t want to speak to God I want to speak with God sorry this was kind of a ramble im just so happy at where I am as God has really blessed me ❤ thank u

Great video. I’m also a new Christian, where I knew of God and Jesus Christ, but I never truly said that He is my savior until this year. I never picked up a Bible until this year. It’s been an amazing journey, and if there is one piece of advice I can give to newbies out there - is that when you’re feeling restless and nothing seems to fulfill you (you watch a favorite movie or show, you read a book, or play a video game and none of it feels satisfying), THAT’S when you need to be connecting with God the most. I’ve learned how to tell when my soul is in need of God’s word so I pop open that Bible and start reading. I pray for longer periods of time. The healing these actions bring is unmatched. God is always there with you, you just need to make the effort to be with Him.

You clearly have a gift for teaching and no doubt with the holy spirit teaching you, you will be firmly established with deep roots in the gospel of our lord jesus Christ. The reason I came looking for a video like this was I have just been introduced to a lady of similar background/old life as myself and I was looking for guidance on how to help her, I was blessed with a cousin of my husband who came to stay with is and basically taught us all every day however she isn't as fortunate to have someone with her to guide her she was raised moron and left them as a teen not feeling she fit in and says she continues to have this issue in other churches where she doesnt fit in. Jesus has done many great things for me and opened my eyes to his truth and I just wanted to be sure I wasn't giving her too much too soon. My prayer for her is that she be protected mind heart and spirit from all the attacks of the enemy so that she may recieve the good news of Jesus Christ and be born again with an unshakable faith, I pray you'll stand in agreement with me for her salvation.💜 My favorite part was hearing you say how when you were first saved Jesus was all you wanted to talk about and I can certainly relate ^_^ the day I was saved I came home shouting at everyone I gave my life to Jesus, safe to say no one knew what I was talking about but we're almost 3 years on I'm married to the man I've loved since high school he's now saved and so is our 13 year old daughter. The way we viewed the world before was so twisted and sure to been doomed I'm so thankful the Lord saved us all and continues to strengthen us with beautiful people like yourself. I grew up in a Christian family but never really felt the connection with God. Today, (in 4 hours!), I'm getting baptized! It's been 2 months since I've let God back into my life and I'm nervous but excited to see what the future brings. Wish me luck at the baptism haha

I started my journey with god 3 1/2 months ago after 17 years of sinning. I still struggle with a few old sins, but I’ve gotten better at leaving them behind. When I don’t want to read the Bible, I still do, but there may be a night where I just pray to god and talk to him. I admit, I’m a little afraid to go to hell, but as time has passed, that feeling has slowly gone. But now, the feeling and urge of wanting to spend the rest of my life with god has grown. I happily gave my life to God two weeks ago. Sometimes I struggle with things, but I do my best to remind myself of god. Whenever I can, I’ll listen to Christian music, or I’ll just talk to him. It’s not very often in the day, but I do my best to remind myself of god and his truth. I’m not perfect, but I do my best at being the best Christian and follower of Christ I can be. There are times where I don’t feel perfect or worthy of god, but that is when I remind myself that I am worth it in the end. One quick question: how can I meditate on gods word at night? Any tips? And any tips on how to get closer to God?

I’m about to be 20 and I have grown up with Mormon grandparents and friends but I did not like the way that they practiced or the focus they’ve had on Smith and since I’m much older than I was then I’ve felt more called to Christianity (side note: I’m from Utah and have come down to Oklahoma so I’m also still trying to find my place here🥲). I’m trying to learn how to walk with God in a more understandable light than how I was taught in a sense that I didn’t understand before even though both are very similar in certain beliefs. I’ve been reading the Bible to get closer to him everyday.

I've been a Christian since I was an infant. I can't remember when I didn't have a relationship with Christ. Having a prayer life is necessary. Every morning I have the routine to pray the Psalms. Wednesday I make it a priority to have a holy hour in Eucharistic Adoration to Adore our Lord and be in complete silence! His Presence is encouraging. I try to make daily Mass twice a week. Come Holy Spirit Come! May God bless you! May the Saints in heaven Pray for you! ⚜️❤️‍🔥

Great video but i really wish you would talk about how Satan is going to tempt you back to your old self. Satan will double down on his efforts to bring you back. He's not giving you up easily. New Christians NEED to know this so you can resist the devil, so he will flee.
