Can you make one for the defender 3 which has a shorter barrel?

Can you make them in any caliber? I would like some in .308 and .257 but not just the super short rounds but the longer ones that get into the 125-160grain range. The defender seems to send a smaller projectile of the same weight faster than a bigger calibee of the same weight. I get 73fpe with 165grain .457 sabot rounds for some reason regular .457 slugs only get around 55-60fpe but the sabots work better idk why. Also the barrel doesent need to be that long, i did some tests with the .457 standard barrel and i cut it in half where the little bevel line is and the cut in half barrel with sabots did 69-71fpe the long barrel 71-75fpe so like overall its kind of worth it more to make it shorter since its almoar identical in performance compared to the standard lenfth. You think you could do that? Make some barrels half as long as standars and make a new front of the gun assembly thats shortened to the length of the new short barrels? Ide want those in .457. ide want 2x standard length .257 or .308cal barrels and 2x extra long 12in barrels in .257 or .308 along with a new fronr gub assembly that matches the long barrel length. I can get .257 150grains going as fast as a .457 160g sabor in a standard barrel ide be willing to bst going from 8 to 12 inches long could probably get the .257 150g chugging with 75-85fpe buy more importantly 17-19in of penetrarion. Thats what this gun lacks for self defense, a .457 that only does 4-6in penetrarion at point blank isnt something reliable. Thats only like 5-6in of penetration. If i shot a .257 150grain with 73fpe or even less lets say 60fpe its going to penetrate around 14-16in deep. A smaller round is always going to be the best option for something like this self defense tool that has a short barrel and relatively low energy in the cartrdige. As long as you are using like i said calibers that get into heavier weights similar to the big bore calibers. The fbi will not use a pew pew if it cant do minimum 12 in penetration. I wouldent want to count on somethinf that couldebt meet those standards either. I want ro know the round is going to go through the threat and puncture vitals immobilizing them and not take a chance on wether or not the round went deep enough to so any meaningful damage. If a mountain lion is stalking me abd my dog on a hike that defender better be able to do 12in minimum or else my shot may not punture the skull and brajn or heart or lungs Ultimately pissing it off and killing me even faster than it was going to previously, the same goes for any criminal trtinf to harm ypu. So in conclusion can you make 4-6 .457 barrels half fhe standard barrel length, a new front gun assembly to match the short barrel size, 2x standard length .257/308 barrels and 4x 12in .257/.308 barrels and the front assenbly to match? Idk about anyone else but personally i would bet my life on a 70fpe .257 doing 15in penetration waaay more than a 70fpe .457 doing only 4-6in penetration. The fpe is so low a bigger and bigger size of slug doesent really matter it actually hinders effectiveness the bigger it gets, when your slugs below 140fpe its going to rely on penetration to be effective since the rounds not going to mushroom, theres no hydrostatic shock and theres so little energy having the bigger round so that energy is transferrd to the targets body completely ends up being waaaaay less effective than a .257 which only dispursds half that energy on a target but it passds through the entire body and internal organs
