I haven't read Fire & Blood. But the instant in the tv series, when little Aemond was on screen, I felt for him, wanted to comfort him and I loved how he got his somewhat revenge in claiming Vhagar! Most child actors is well, cute and all, but Leo Ashton made me feel so much, despair, injustice, anger (towards his bullies), motherly feelings, happiness and joy, malice (depending on the scenes of course), compassion. True talent.

I love Aemond. If someone had actually taken the time to teach and lead him when he was young, he could've grown up to be a fantastic potential ruler. He was smart, brave, bold, yet sensitive, with a solid sense of duty. He could've been the best of them all. Instead he got neglected very middle child style.

I feel so bad for this guy he didn't deserve to lose an eye in a kid fight. It was so brutal how Lucerys attacked him with a knife even after he spared him. Wasn't "a fair exchange" at all. These kids were just jealous because he could tame the dragon and they couldn't. He didn't steal him. Being stabbed in the eye can cause permanent brain damage and alter your personality massively over the years. You can see how changed he is from his childhood. Still such a great character. He's so badass. His grown up version is probably the best actor in this show, so intimidating. One of the best characters for sure.

@@noahswiss1997 That's true but he was still in the right for defending himself against these kids who ambushed, bullied and ganged up on him. It was self defense in its purest form. And he still lost an eye. A lot of his depth perception went away in a quick instance. Jacaerys and Lucerys always initiate everything because they have quick tempers.

Rhaenyra is a cunt, just like her father and uncle, Viserys in Ep7 acted like Aemond out of nowhere insulted the boys and didn't even hear his side of the story, dude has a bad judgment, both as a father and a king, like he literally got out of death bed to give his bastard grandson a seat he has 0 right to it, (Luke taking Driftmark is like Tommen taking Storm's End) wtf 😯, and the show is trying to make it look like we're supposed to cheer for the bastards in taking what's not theirs, even the Iron Throne is not for Jace to take because he's still hasn't been legitimized, it's kinda funny that Rhaenyra is claiming every seat for her bastards except their real dad's seat, Harrenhal 😂

Rhaenyra should've at least made an effort to build a relationship with her half siblings. Maybe if she'd ever shown them any affection, they never would've agreed to usurping her throne. Instead, she treated them as her enemies from the day they were born. And so, she turned them into her enemies. Self fulfilling prophecy of a sort.

Leo Ashton is the breakout star. We all admire the older Aemond because Leo made Aemond such a empathetic character. He's an ass but I would always remember the sullen, bullied kid.

@@asinineintelligence6194 are we watching the same show? Jacaerys threw sand in his eyes. They could've taken advantage of that and escaped. Instead that psycho luke took his eye. And they started the fight 4vs1. Rhaena and Baela were in grief so their entitlement can be excused a bit. But J and L were just assholes who wanted chance to bully Aemond again and acted as if they felt bad for the girls. Lol.
