the two small bonnet vets, are they fitted up side down? aren't the ridges suppose to go under the bonnet with the openings facing forward. The air rushing over the outside of the bonnet in the lower pressure zone where you have them fitted would cause the vent to draw the air out of the bonnet, like blowing over the end of a straw in a drink it sucks liquid up the straw. The air travelling under the bonnet from front to back is going in the right direction to flow up and out of the bonnet through the vent. I do think they would work in the orientation you have fitted them, but i am not sure that is the way they are supposed to be fitted. They would ruin the air flow over the rest of the car behind the vents. However i would love to know the difference in flow of the vents when fitted in either direction.

@@MotiveVideo Just watched the areo tech video again and the vent you have on Jet 200 are flush with the top of the bonnet and the louvers are below bonnet level. yes they have a flap at the front to start a larger low pressure area over the vent which will help. maybe it is just the style of the two different vents in both cases the louvers point backwards. shame i can't send a pic of what i mean in comments.

Hm, I can't get used to the looks of the scoops on the hood....looks a little bit too much improvised in my opinion. But, as I said, that is my own personal view. The positive effects maybe very good, but that has to be evaluated. I would like to know a before/after scenario in terms of aerodynamical and temperature benefits. Sorry for my bad english. The "right" position for scoops and hoods are not easily to determine and you have to have a look at the airflow of the car - where are the areas with high pressure or low pressure or even negative pressure. Some guys think, lifting the hood at the windshield will help to drag the hot air out of the engine bay, but the exact opposite is the case, because you have an area with high pressure there, which prevents the hot air from getting out of the engine bay area.
