The Italian Air Force's 'Frecce Tricolori' put on an impressive show at the Royal International Air Tattoo 2022. See them taking off, performing and landing in this full-length video from Sunday.
The Italian Air Force's National Aerobatic Team the 'Frecce Tricolori' brought 10 of their Aermacchi MB-339s, used as fighter jet training aircraft for the military.

@CobraEmergency Hey, Steven, Chris or Cameron...... could you just change the time stamp for "Landing" to 18:40 instead of 13:38? because the actual landing takes place at 18:40 and not 13:38...... thank you, Steven,Chris and Cameron for the awesome videos as always.........Anyway, i hope that you all and everyone at your side and at CobraEmergency have an amazingly awesome day today and everyday........ stay safe, protected and blessed always..... 🙂

Sono Americano & dice entrambi sono uguali - I'm American & say both are equal. Mi piace il Italiano spettacolo "Amorini frecce attraverso il cuore" - I like the Italian "Cupid's arrow through the heart" maneuver.

Spettacolari come sempre.. non capisco come ci sia gente che osanna come i migliori al mondo (dopo questo RIAT2022) i Black Eagles con tutte le imprecisioni che commettono con manovre quasi basilari a differenza delle nostre frecce. Qui si vede la preparazione, la devozione di questo fantastico gruppo acrobatico!

In certain cases there's music during the exhibition and it will be "e lucean le stelle" from Puccini's Tosca, sung by Luciano Pavarotti. And it chill your spine even if you're not Italian (someone of us sheds a tear)

The QRA demo was my favourite display from RIAT this year. Shame we didn’t see the dogfight sim because of the issue with the typhoon but it was so loud when they took of and cool to see them intercept

The QRA demo was particularly cool, to see 2x Typhoons and a Herc', especially the way they took off to intercept it. Shame about the dogfight simulator! That would've been fun. Definitely need more days and time for RIAT 😂

woohoo! TOTALLY LOVED THIS VIDEO! Thank you for this video you guys at CobraEmergency! 🙂....... i really couldn't help but give a happy child-like smile when i saw these guys wave at you all just before the take off......... and that death dive that was done by one of these pilots was not just AWESOME but VERY scary at the same time! and yes i did have a question about the Coloured Smoke that they let trail behind them..... and yes i asked the question in the chat as well, but well i'll ask it again........ the question was: Is there a special chamber in these planes to house (or hold) all that coloured smoke before the planes take off? and where and how exactly do they store these coloured smoke (as in which part of the jets do they store the coloured smoke in) before they take off? ...... and sorry if my questions sound so silly, but well, i am not that used to looking at planes and other vehicles, but well, i am still learning a lot of new things when i watch your videos........ Anyway, i hope that you all at CobraEmergency (a.k.a: Steven/Ss, Cameron/CW and Chris) and everyone at your side, have an amazingly awesome day today and everyday.........Stay safe, protected and blessed always...... The British Red Arrows (Frecce Rosa) & the Italian Frecce Tricolore (Three Coloured Arrows) have the best aircraft for aerobatics (trainers/light A2G attack). Would love to see a joint maneuver with the coloured smoke !

@@RNS681 I'm an American & would love to see both teams here in the States. But the flight would be too long (I think)... they'd have to be retrofitted for aerial refueling, or come by carrier with cranes to load & off load.

@@RNS681 I think you're correct. You folks across the Atlantic have an easier time, geographically, putting on shows with a wide variety of teams. I also like the RNZAF Black Falcons as I'm a fan of their aircraft - T-6 Texan A2... they were previously flying the MB 339

I've noticed they changed their landing routine, they used to land in two formations of five planes, just like the take-off phase but here they came in one by one instead; is it only for the RIAT display or it's been changed for all the displays in general?

They usually land one by one when wind gusts don't make it safe for a formation landing. As far as I know they landed in formation the other days. There is a change for the RIAT display tho, they never perform the downward bomb burst., not sure why.

i was thinking that it was something called the "Death Dive"......... it's actually a VERY VERY dangerous stunt....... but that is at least what i personally think because they must have already checked all the Fighter Jet planes' engines before and if there was any issue with the engine, they would have noticed this and repaired it well before the Aerobatic display started because this "Death Dive" thing is really very dangerous and only someone who knew what they were doing and also someone who has had tons of experience in flying (like all these pilotes in the video who are all well trained air force pilots by the way) and also someone who didn't just have the courage but also the confidence, will be able to do such a stunt....... because one wrong move and that plane would come crashing to the earth killing the pilot within........ and well CobraEmergency did pin a comment of all the time stamps of everything and what you saw comes under Aerobatic Display........ it's actually one of the most dangerous and most performed stunt that is performed during the Aerobatic Displays......... and actually this is the only stunt i know by name.......

Impressive, but not quite as impressive as a Swedish Air Force pilot in a Saab Viggen at a very soggy Woodford Airshow (Manchester) years ago. Some of the larger aircraft weren't able to fly due to a very soggy runway. Upsteps this very fine aviator. He approached at about 100ft AGL. With full afterburners. Nose pointing on the vertical and dried the runway... Incredible piece of skill. I doubt he paid for a beer all night as he managed to dry the runway enough for the Vulcan to do a fast taxi down the runway. Much to the delight of the remaining spectators...
