I can make really good hot chocolate. 3:1 ratio of Oatmilk to water, dark chocolate, powder sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt all cooked on the stove in a pot So amazing mmmm

You might like Kimberly Killebrew's thick and dark "Parisian Hot Chocolate (Le Chocolat Chaud)". I tried to calculate the chocolate content of this vs a standard hot chocolate recipe. Chocolate in the Chocolat Chaud seemed to be around 40%, while cocoa/sugar content of the standard hot chocolate recipe was around 15%. Why can't mochas start out with Chocolat Chaud, instead of diluting it with steamed milk?

You want the mixture to aerate but you do not want it hot. The ice works as a temperature buffer. Definitely give it a try. My friend's cafe is serving aerocanos (aka steamed ice americanos) every summer season and people love them.
