Bringing filters was never an issue for me when traveling with the original aeropress. Just keep em in the plunger, they stay in there surprisingly well, even without the travel cap that's available for the original aeropress. You could also just chuck em in the same ziploc bag as your coffee, or in the grounds catch of your travel grinder a lot of which also fit in the plunger.

I love both; my OG AeroPress and my AP Go. My Fellow Prismo didn't fit well on the Go, but I can live with the inverted method in camp. Stay well, Allie!

How do you dilute the coffee in the GO version so that you can get a full 12oz out of it? I just got one and I can't seem to get more than 6oz of coffee. It's so small.

Cool review! The aeropress is what I pack when I go camping as well, but I have a pretty awesome setup that i am not willing to trade for the "go". But, if this had come out sooner, I would have definitely purchased this version instead.

I found that the jetboil mini mo with coffee press is fastest and makes great coffee. But this will allow me to make food and coffee at the same time, which is great! Thanks for the video.

Try a more concentrated brew recipe and dilute to full your mug.

easier way is to invert and brew it upside down fully extended (not on cup), don't put the filter on until you are ready to invert onto the cup. This way no water leaks through prematurely.

I use the inverted method like I would for a French press. One rounded scoop (1+ TBS), 8 oz hot water, wait 4 mins. Gently flip over onto mug and plunge, perfect every time! The GO looks cute, but the original is small enough, you just have to have your own mug/cup.

Derek Lynn , she actually said it, but it was so fast I thought I misheard her. It looks to be a Eureka Mignon Filtro, with a non standard dark grey hopper and grind catcher. Stealthy.
