Recorded the 5th August 2014... Download: / 169. . Vincent Villuis is composer & sound designer, Dj and co-owner of Ultimae records. Electronic activist since teenage hood, he was also one of the founding members of ASURA. Bass player and singer in several coldwave and industrial bands, he then moved on to composing with machines. Specialized in sampling and layering of acoustic sounds digitally transmuted, Vincent Villuis creates a music which offers multiple listening possibilities. His project AES DANA brings a fusion between the British Progressive feel and the traditional American Space Music; with sounds anchored in the psychedelic realm freely flowing into a morning Downtempo trance, tribal or smashed rhythms.
So far he produced 5 solo albums, participated to about 3 dozen compilations and collaborated on three albums with Swedish artist Magnus Birgersson under moniker H.UV.A.NETWORK.
In 2009, Vincent Villuis composed soundtracks for Science Fiction movie "The Passport" (Amund Lie) and "Atrophy Bank" (Sam Asaert) out end 2009. In June 2009 was released his album [ Leylines ] which received many excellent feedbacks from the electronic scene and from the beyond audience. The album Leylines was ranked top 10 sales electronic music on Itunes USA and Top 5 on Emusic. The album Perimeters was ranked top 5 on emusic and Amazon.
As the conceptor of the Fahrenheit Project compilation, he just released the last chapter of the series in May 2011.
In 2009, Vincent Villuis became sponsored artist by TC Electronic and in 2011 by Roland Cakewalk.
Vincent Villuis was the official resident at "Les Dominicains of Haute Alsace" from 2009 to 2011 where he worked on compositions, remixes and multi-diffusion installation for this cultural heritage building.

How awesome to hear such good music, and then to scroll down and see the respect that people can actually have for each other. An entire comment section, and not one bad thing to say. No swearing. No one insulting anyone else. That is why I like visiting here often. Its tough to find that good Wave in an already troubled universe, and when you do, it usually gives you the pleasure you need. Loving the sounds.... Just what I need right now. Surfing the Galaxy right now.

Aes Dana may not be Irish (it is old gaelic, it is by the way pronounced like "eees DAna" and synonym is Tuatha de Danaan - People of the Light), but it is one of the most soothing, smooth, flawless ambient music you can find. IMO, this artist is precisely what he named his project, an angel.

I love the music, feel the music, of Vincent Villuis; in particular as Aes Dana and with HUVA Network. Soaring, deep and expansive are his sonic vistas. This is the first time I've heard him do a set of his own stuff, which of course is seriously phenomenal. Thanks for sharing! :)

Fabian Reschke well.... YEAH! Psyllibin was created to break the outlines of what you can’t normally see for hunters living back in the stone ages. I believe mamma mentioned in exodus in the Bible was shrooms, if you read of manna, it came with the dew and left with the first rays of light, shortly after Moses spoke to God in the burning bush. I mean come on it even says it was the color of earth. Pretty coincidental wouldn’t you agree?
