3 жыл бұрынI'm here to pass judgement on the faces of celebrities and this week I'm taking a look at the FRIENDS cast from 1994 to 2021 namely Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry 🙎🏼♀️💁🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️🤦♀️🙎♂️
This is pure speculation from an aesthetic doctors point of view and I certainly could be wrong about some of this (but I'm pretty sure I'm right!) 💉💉💉

Kudrow and LeBlanc aged the best. They both look natural, whether they are or not. When they smile they look real and like their younger selves again. The other women are overdone and odd-looking, and their faces don’t move naturally any more. Aniston was maintaining herself really well until recently. The other two guys look old and tired.

People seem to forget about Matthew Perry’s life altering car accident where his entire jaw had to be reconstructed. He’s literally still recovering from that accident. Be nice y’all 😂

Your comments about Matt Perry were really harsh. He spent months in the hospital after nearly dying from sepsis. He is also a recovering alcoholic which probably aged him a great deal. Many people age well without work. I am not a drinker, smoker or sun worshipper. I always took care of my skin.. People usually think I am 10 years younger. I have nothing against conservative plastic surgery or injections, but not everybody needs or wants them. That is OK too.

@@user-fm2ds7pk4w yes! The people in the spotlight are who we watch and the way media (or you tubers etc) treat these situations sets the cultural trends on what we accept and what we won’t accept. And let’s be honest, addiction doesn’t hurt only poor people or middle class or rich or super rich. It’s not exactly choosy. In fact, I have friends who were quite well off and the more money they got, the more it went up their noses. They wore nice clothes and had a beautiful home but they were miserable behind closed doors. To the point of almost abusive to each other. They were so unhappy. (Side note: I have since moved pretty far from where they live and they have moved beyond their addiction and turned their focus onto a farm and ranch. They are happier than I’ve ever known them now.) Money solves a lot, and can do a lot of wonderful things but it sure as hell can cause a lot of problems and pain as well. I am no where near rich but I can understand that people with money are still in fact people.

Lisa clearly by far has aged the best. Jennifer and Courtney looked like they had extra faces on. Btw how about the “parents” making an appearance?! That was sweet. They aged well too!

Yep - lisa looks great and ironically is a perfect illustration of why cosmetic surgery often, or perhaps even most of the time, isn't a good idea.

I hate when people say Jennifer Aniston is au naturale...she's more natural looking than say Kylie Jenner but she's definitely had work done. She didn't get a boob job but had a nose job as well as work on her jaw, her jawline and chin was way more prominent early in her career.

Lisa and Matt did the best according to me. They look human and relatable. Doesn’t matter if someone chooses to go down the intervention route as long as it’s done to enhance your looks and it’s subtle!

Is it just me or does anyone else disagree with almost everything that was said? First, I found this video very insensitive. People shouldn't be criticized for their very personal decision to get surgery. Also, I think Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow aged the best and in my opinion, the most natural. Matthew Perry had decades of health and drug issues, so let's be more sensitive towards him. In today's world, I find videos like this very out of place. We all look in the mirror every day, and what we decide to do after that is nobody's business. Nothing personal here, but I can type my disgust with this video all night, however, it's now 1AM and I need to get my beauty rest...:-)

Ok, just by saying the Courtney Cox has done really well, you instantly lose all credibility. She has looked terrible for years. The work she's done has made her look completely unnatural. It's not just obvious, it's painfully obvious and anti aesthetic. Aesthetic interventions should be as less noticeable as possible and the shouldn't completely transform your face into something unrecognizable. It's unbelievable that you think she's done a good job.

@@teijaflink2226 My guess is she's trying to get (or already has) famous customers so she can't be seen bashing celebrities (or at least celebrities that matter and especially women who are her customer basis. Because she certainly went to town with Mathew Perry). The problem is she loses credibility because Cox is clearly unrecognizable and looks terrible.

The issue is, if we don’t have transparency or don’t talk about what people have had done, it becomes stigmatised and these beauty standards of “not ageing” puts younger generations under pressure. She’s not being malicious in this video

Yeah, I have no issue with talking about having work done and de-stigmatising cosmetic work. My issue with this video, particularly when talking about Matthew Perry, is that it feels like he's being judged for choosing not to have work done on his chin. There shouldn't a stigma either way. People can do whatever they want with their own face.

I cant be more disagree, watching the reunion, ross seems so puffy and odd, monica seems rather plastic than human skin. My best aged oscar goes tooo joeyy and phoebe, so natural and they still have the sparkles in their eyes and smiles, their life energy totally shines no matter how many wrinkles or weight. I think photo review shouldnt be the issue

After watching this video I honestly can't tell if this doctor has contempt for people who haven't had "interventions", who have had them, who have had bad ones, who age naturally, who do not age naturally or if she just looks down on people in general.

Sometimes it’s a British thing. It doesn’t mean that they themselves are bad, it just means that culturally, we as Americans see “bluntness or a negative personal opinion on looks” as bad. Whereas they just see it as “helpful” just “part of a regular conversation” or just “being honest” and they do no usually take it personally. They tend to separate emotion from critical feed back.If you watch Chef Ramsey or The Great British Baking Show, they’re very perfectionistic if and blunt there too but it’s about food instead of personal appearance. They don’t see “truth” as hurtful or a bad thing. I personally think, it just depends on the person and setting. It doesn’t mean that they’re “right” or that we’re “right” but it’s simply cultural differences. I think we both could learn from each other. Sometimes they’re too overly critical and perfectionistic. Sometimes we really could use honest feed back about something so we can improve. It would also help if we were honest about wanting the bluntness and gave consent to it. Just my two cents.

I think the reason everyone likes Lisa the best is that with her being natural, we still recognize her face and smile from 30 yrs ago. Fillers make people look different so the ones who have done them don’t look as familiar as when we watched the show

100%. That was super cringy. She also keeps talking about the jawline on these people. My parents are 57 an 59 and their jawlines are nice and firm. I'm not saying nobody has had work done on their jaw lines but some people also just have good genes. It's not like these people are 70. Most are in their early 50s.

As a licensed Esthetician, I recommend regular facials, good professional products for home care, staying out of the sun and eating healthy.....most people don't look better with cosmetic procedures- just different. Age gracefully like Lisa Kudrow; Matthew Perry's lifestyle has caught up with him and you can see it in his face. He was the best of the 3 but hasn't aged well

I agree, aging, wrinkles and muscles sagging is absolutely normal and should be seen as normal. When someone has plastic surgery, botox, fillers done it shouts "I'm terribly insecure" to me, which is not okay and detters me. Healthy mind and lifestyle is all one needs, not fillers...

Very simple. Insurance agents want you to buy every kind of coverage. Hair dressers definitely want you to get more than a quick trim. And this video popped up unbidden to nudge people towards procedures to avoid...decaying.

Lisa Kudro aging naturally puts her at the top for me, Jen Aniston is still beautiful and doing the touch ups successfully, I have always loved Courtney Cox, but she looks like she had too much done to her already beautiful face. It makes me mad when beautiful women do that to themselves when so many of us weren’t blessed looking that good in the first place! Matt L looks the best out of the guys, I don’t care if he gained a few pounds, Matt P, looks like a lot of middle aged men, and David Schwimmer…what was with his puffy cheeks?

Just watched it. Thought Jen and Courtney looked like they had had lots of work. Thought Lisa looked the best. I know Matt is carrying a bit of weight but he looks good. The boys all looked good. Jen’s work is obvious and the more they cried the more obvious it became. Janice looked brilliant

Wouldn’t it have been fun to watch the strikingly beautiful face of Courtney Cox age naturally? What a beautiful picture of grace and beauty she would have been! She looks like every other Hollywood woman now. Jennifer looks somehow masculine to me - I can’t put my finger on it. Lisa looks stunning. Matt LeBlanc looks fantastic, David looks good/ok and Matthew P looks like all of us normal people who have been through the ringer of life.

Agree about Jennifer. Couldn't quite figure it out but thick and a bit masculine. Her deeper voice (I heard she is or was a smoker) + the face changes were puzzling; just kept trying to figure out what was going on. Too bad.

Of course her face, her choice but I found it actually dissapointing that has done such obvious work in her face. She had such a natural, unique beauty and I think would have been interesting to see how she would have looked now. I think she looks very good but it's just so unfortunate that she got the typical Hollywood, stepford wife look, all the middle aged Hollywood women specially seem to have those same, fake looking lips, they must use the same surgeon.

It's the Brows. The bigger, bushier, man brows. They're too dark and too bold. She always had thin feminine brows. Now they're very masculine and too close together. I think this contributes to the entire fake look. WIth natural brows, she would look normal.

I feel the pressure and I’m just an average Joe. I hate looking old and tired. I feel Botox really helps me. Billion dollar industry aimed at making us feel ugly/not good enough. Loved this break down.

Lisa Kudrow is the best IMHO. I admire your expertise and skill but I'm with Lisa. I just can't get pointy things jabbed into my face and anesthesia is too risky for vanity. I tend to larygespasm badly. Not worth it.

I think Lisa Kudrow had a nose job early on in life for that nose she along with others wanted to have, so surprised she’s be scared to do further work! I think Courtney would have aged beautifully without anything done, she does look better now with less fillers

It’s my opinion that genetics and lifestyle also play a big part in one’s aging - outside and inside. BTW Courtney looks weird and stretched in the mouth. David looks odd (fillers) not the best of the guys. Heck we ALL age & change. Really.

Agree. Who is this woman. Someone who obviously has FAR too much time on her hands. How disgusting. Could only watch the first 5 mins. If they want fillers, botox etc, fine. I will never put that crap in my face. Heres a piece of advice, drink water, eat veg, sleep. And embrace the ageing process, do what you can to enhance your looks..I earned my wrinkles.

Sad that women and men in many societies (US and South Korea mostly) are made to feel ashamed of their natural features. Aging is normal, when you have insecurities, plastic surgery won't help it. It's about your mind and healthy lifestyle. Lisa and Matt look the best, because they have the least work done.

Last year there was an award show where all of a sudden Jennifer Aniston had really heavy eyebrows, the look you get when you have had a bit too much botox. And she still had that look slightly in the Reunion episode. There is nothing wrong with aging, nor with people who like to do procedures to counteract the signs of aging. But I would prefer to at least look as “not done” as possible So I think Lisa Kudrow looked the best and the most natural Oh no please, not Courtney, she looks like she had a badly done facelift

After Friends, Matthew Perry was in “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. It’s a tv show written by Aaron Sorkin. It only has one season, but it’s SO GOOD and if you haven’t seen it I recommend you check it out!

OK, you lost me there. I do not believe that it is impossible to look like Matt LeBlanc without having something done. Genetics can do the trick and he just looks like someone who has, indeed, good genetics. I am not saying that it is impossible for him to have had something done, but really, we are not all equals in that department at all and that is the truth of it. Every single one of my family members look younger than they are A lot of my friends as well. My mom, who is almost 75, has very tight eyelids and not a single wrinkle. She legitimately looks younger than Kuddrow without having had any type of work done, ever. Even without makeup. Please, do not see it as some sort of insult or shading: Lisa looks great!! Wrinkles are not ugly at all. The problem is actually that people don't believe my mom. I am just tired of seeing these videos of doctors pretending to know exactly what aging looks like. My own doctor did not believe that I am over forty. He thought I was about 25 and asked to see my ID again before ordering some tests that he said were not necessary for "someone my age". It's not the first time. These last few years, I have had more and more people asking what was my secret. They usually expect me to give them the name of some miracle night cream (I use no cosmetic product whatsoever, just soap, water and moisturize with food grade oil), the name of a clinic or know what I eat. Looking "younger" is quite a common occurrence, not everyone is the same and it is a reality.

I was scrolling the comments to see if anyone else was having the same feeling that I was! Im not denying the possibility that there was cosmetic work done, its not my place to say whether someone has or not. But it brought to mind my own father. He has worked outside on roofs for decades, and has no skin care routine. It is undeniable that he has aged from 30 years ago, he does look different, but overall has aged really well. I feel like it could be the same for Matt leBlanc and Lisa Kudrow particularily, and perhaps David Schwimmer. However, after saying all that, there is nothing wrong with the aging process, and it should be accepted more widely.

the '2021'photo of Matt LeBlanc is definitely not from 2021, 1. it's clearly from the paley center and is a red carpet shot...none of them have happened for obvious reasons. 2. it's at least a few years old, he did not look like that at the reunion. he looks great and very natural, but unfair to have that comparison and leaves me to think, are the other cast members photos correct? is this a fair comparison at all?

You didn’t even bother to watch the reunion before doing this review, obviously. Otherwise you would have different opinion. You could have also noticed that LeBlanc gained quite a lot of weight and looks nothing like a picture you showed. And I think a little extra weight actually helped his face to look so good. David looked horrible. Girls didn’t look like themselves at all. Except for Lisa, who is so natural and gorgeous

My aunt on mom's side is 62 this year , and I want to age like her , except for some crows feet and frown lines , she doesn't look a day older than 35. She has zero work done , I know cause we are poor ,we don't have that kind of money to throw on looks . She doesn't smoke or drink ,no drugs , it's all diet and exercise and genetics ofcourse . My mom is 56 and looks older(only slightly) than my aunt . I want to age like my aunt ,hope I got her genetics from grandma.
