The vibe Aethel was talking about during the Bao song is Trip Hop. Originating in the early/mid 90's, reached a peak in the early/mid 2000s. See groups like Massive Attack, Portishead, Sneaker Pimps for some of the more popular examples of the genre. Sadly, it's not a genre of music that is particularly popular these days.

Yo Athelstan you asked what they got in Germany that they got 3 hands, well I can’t remember if it’s Russia or Germany but there is a village somewhere over there where normal people are considered genetic freaks because we haven’t mutated to have extra limbs or body parts like their village. It’s due to the radioactive fallout from an experiment gone wrong in a nearby region that’s effected their entire village for 2 or 3 generations now. It’s pretty crazy to read about. Sad for them but they see it as normal. So idk? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Its the only village like that world wide.

Alright, the guitar is a bit too fast for doom, but just right for traditional, old school metal. Vocals seem to be a cross between death, grindcore, and perhaps a bit of black (I don't listen to much black metal, sue me). Rock and roll drumbeat to it, while parts of the guitar tone sound like modern metalcore or nu metal. Overall, very cool, perfect for Aethel. Just don't let the metalheads hear it, bunch of snobs that they are.
