@@KortalMombat-vo9xj I think it Depends on the skins particularly for both games, if you're talking about the variants alternate colors all of them are lazy as they're just color swaps which again SF also does besides MK. This is something none of them should charge us for imo. However, MK does have some different skins the 3D era skins, the boss invasion skins, some KL skins depending and some shop skins(invasion) as well as the default game skins are very different they just need to stop charging for so many of the variants especially. To me charging for skins is still greedy regardless if it's Capcom or NRS. Both can put them in the game for free and I remember now speaking of skins years ago let's not forget Capcom has a past rep for charging for on disc skins with that past controversy....with the SFx Tekken and MVC3 fiasco talk about a scam. The X-mas skins while I don't agree with charging them I didn't even see anyone use, outside of like 2 or 3 streamers. Honeybee used the Reptile one, LOSTY used the Kitana and I think I saw someone using the Shao one but outside of those three streamers I don't recall majority buying those on average. The thing that kept me playing MK11 was watching tournaments and skilled content creators because I wanted to improve and do the cool stuff they were doing, if it weren't for that I'd probably have dropped the game before Aftermath even came out.

It was definitely rushed, but where is this injustice 3 stuff coming from?? All leaks point to it having been MK1 from the start, not only that. Most of the games leaks that turned out to be correct were leaked years earlier, when modes were already being worked on Not only that, but 1 reason I can believe it was the most worked on game is because of all the cancelled content that couldn’t make it in. For example: - Having every character in MK History as a Kameo - A functional MK9 Tag Team Mode (That’s still in the games files) - A Kameo Mode Even if these features didn’t make the launch version, they’re was obviously a lot of work out behind these ideas, I don’t think that instantly makes it untrue that it was the most worked on game all time Not to mention, when “Map Mode” was leaked 2 years ago, it was “THE LEAST FLESHED OUT” mode, and could potentially be on the cutting room floor There’s no doubt this game is unfinished, it sounds like it’s only half the game that it’s supposed to be. Yeah maybe, I think the timeframe also matters there though, normally a new NRS game will release the month before, or the same month as combo breaker, this time its nowhere near, NRS always has sharp falloff into its next year, so makes sense there. It's not the intros themselves that causing it, it's just the overall action of doing any change to the game that causing it. That's why NRS/WB keep working on this because just removing the intros isn't gonna solve the issue.

mk1(xsx) - 6.81 online / 3.72 offline, mk11 - has more or less similar, I haven't tested mkx but it probably also has 3 frames, from my understanding you treat offline/online as two different games, it's too hard for me to switch, i have problems with flawless block timing, and responding to overheads feels like more of a guessing game for me, @@AF0xyGrampa but you have a good idea, maybe I'll give this game a chance and approach it the same way you do

installed the steam version to see if they fixed the PC port, but it's still the same even though their bug reporting page claims otherwise, I still have stuttering and the game drops frames every now and then, imagine fighting game that can't maintain a stable 60 frames in 2024, everything discourages me from playing this game, I'll come back in a year or so, maybe they'll fix it, for now it's a sad thing

Prices of games have been the same for ages and at this point it should be more expensive since it cost more to produce and develop a AAA game. All other forms of entertainment have scaled but not games. Of Course it would be bad if you play for only an hour or two but if you spend over 100 hours into it then it would be like 0.7/1.1 dollars an hour or 200 hours it would be 0.35/0.55 dollars an hour. I think the real issue with skins would be if it was like fortnite when it's mostly kids playing it. But since it's r-rated I can't really see the issue. It would have been better though if skins would have been like injustice 1.

Even within the last couple of years many of these major publishers have been recording record profits. The issue is that with massive companies, there are many investors which have to be kept happy. Why? Cuz opportunity cost. If the games aren’t made as profitable as possible, the people who provide the funds will just move onto a better money making opportunity. This is what leads to cost cutting, firing staff, mtx, the release of unfinished games, etc.
