In this video, I will go through the basics of the shape builder function in Affinity Designer v2.
The shape builder is one of the great additions in v2 of Affinity Designer. Once you get your head around it, it is extremely helpful and pretty straightforward. In this video I will be working with six different design examples to show you the basics of the tools, the action and selection modes, and how to use them.

Firstly, I want to thank you for your tutorials and the hard work and time you take to create them, including your free content. I'd like to suggest that you move your cursor more purposefully and in a slower pace. Sometimes it is hard to follow where you are clicking on your screen because you seem to be so used to know where the icons for the commands are in Designer's interface, and then that makes it hard to follow you. Thanks again.

You are welcome... and thanks for the feedback. I try and add text and markers as well as mention it as much as I can... but sometimes it slips and I should pay more attention to it.

hi from UK well I had a go at the puzzle ones and omg they are hard!! Ive done the first two jeez they were frustrating but I got there in the end but its now so late I gotta stop and eat then maybe sleep

Enjoy... The shape builder is an awesome tool once you see the shapes beyond all the pattern.
