I have a Hoobs Pro device which includes Matter and Zigbee, as well as the HomeKit integration. Do I still need an Aqara hub for their devices?

I also automated a closet light. Full bright during the day. Dim and red at night, so as not to over-stimulate or ruin night vision. Real glad I did it.

Good video. But I had so much trouble with aqara, that I will not consider aqara again. I want to have the fp2 presence sensor but I don't know if it's great.

I’ve been on the smart home/homekit sideline for awhile now. But I think some of these items has me feeling motivated to act. So far is the camera reliably uploading to HomeKit secure video? I know some other brands have had issues just not recognizing activity.

In my experience yes it is but using indoors for me has way less motion events than outside cameras so I haven’t extensively tested if it misses events.

I like the features Aqara is putting into their new devices. I was going to skip them because I did not want to add another hub and I want to rely on as few apps as possible. Now I have their doorbell, door sensors, and deadbolt. I still don't need their hub. I'd trade in my Eufy indoor and outdoor cameras for Aqara if I had extra money lying around.

Hello. 2 person home. I have Apple phone, tablet and laptop. My roommate has Android phone, tablet and Microsoft laptop. Can we both access cameras, doorbells, lights etc? We also have Roku on our 3 tv’s. I’ve looked at Roku doorbell, cameras, lights but they seem to only work with Roku.
