Its good to see you trying out no reservations and showing us how it goes. I'm with you when you say you don't know how other RVers do it winging it. I personally like the security blanket of having reservations in advance. But can see the benefits of being flexible too. So thanks for taking us along!

The whole reservation planning/not planning is actually going very well. I Katrina just like winging it where Chris enjoys having reservations and knowing where we'll be at all times. We just came through there and stayed at the campground one night and loved it. My daughter was happy they had a DD. The Caballas was nice too!

Jim likes Culver's too. No sweet tea for us! Pup cups are great. Nice that you are a smaller unit that you can just pull in where it will work. With a longer set up, it takes a little more planning ( as you know). It seems that you are really enjoying the new flexibility! 🙂 Getting work done is what we all gotta do. Great that you can park and walk to the places you need to go to. -Michelle

We are loving the smaller rig for this trip just not sure we could live in this one fulltime. We'll be back in our class A next spring. Safe travels and have a great weekend guys!

Hey guys just remembered we watched you on our big screen last night witb some popcorn and still needed to comment. That burger looked amazing and Tucker is one lucky fur baby! Oh we have a lot of 5 guys in the area and now a couple In and Outs you should also try Killer Burger. We talk about how nice it would be to get a rig so I would feel more comfortable driving while Ron edits and Katrina great way to stay calm and cool in the wind. That RV park was fantastic for a great price and I am sure it was a better sleep then walmart! Trip looks to be going well so far cant wait to see more safe travels!

We'll have to try out Killer Burgers this fall while in the NW. With that name they must be good. The small rig is great for just the reasons you mentioned but I still miss all the room our class A gives us. Walmart's are our last choice for an overnight. We prefer Cracker-barrel or Cabela's. The trip is wonderful and so happy we could make it happen this year. Safe travels guys!

Hey! We have a Culver's here in our town. It's good if they put everything on the burger. They don't automatically put anything on it unless you remember to tell them. Otherwise, you get a burger on the bun and that's all. 🙅♀️. Lol. Anyway, cool place to camp! Who knew Cabellas had a campground?!! Awesome looking place to stop! Safe travels to ya! I'm excited for this trip 😊!!

Unfortunately I "Katrina" wasn't feeling well that day and didn't get to try Chris's burger. It did look really good! Great video guys. We eat at a Culvers when we were at our daughters in Indiana.....they have the best ice cream. Tucker sure liked his, lol. Safe travels to Alaska !!!!

Love Culvers - as "Carnivores" we simply order multiple patties w/ cheese! No hassles over the order.... and LOVE that they fry in BUTTER, and not any putrid seed oils (aka "vegetable, canola," etc.)!

To us Culver's is all about the shakes. Burgers are good, too. Hope you got to Grand Tetons Nat'l Park while in Jackson, WY. Jackson has an appeal, but that park is the best of them all in our opinion. You are 1 year ahead of us fellow Marylanders heading to Alaska. Safe travels.

Will have to try their shakes next time. Didn't have time to visit Grand Tetons Nat'l Park this round but hopefully on our way back east next Spring. If our first week is any indication of how Amazing it is up here your going to love it! Safe travels. 😊

Missy and I really enjoy Culver’s. First time for us was a couple years ago in Indiana. We can’t believe that you didn’t get the cheese curds, man they are good. Never stayed at a Cabela’s campground, stayed at a Loves.

That’s an awesome Cabelas camping spot. Culver’s is fantastic but my (Ken) favorite is still Backyard Burgers. I think we only have them in the South.

If there were more Cabela campgrounds we'd definitely be staying there more often. Sure does beat the Walmart parking lot.

First off, your right looks great! Nice and clean and shiny. I like the cabelas campground, very similar to the Loves sites. Will be running the same route your on in 3 months, by then you should be all done going to Alaska, and just starting your return trip…looking forward to your video on Jackson hole, we will be staying over by culture bay …

My husband had his gall bladder out 2 months ago still having a lot of issues with back pain hip pain and stomach issues. We have determined he most likely is now gluten intolerant it’s an experiment trying to figure out what he can and cannot eat. Love watching your journey!

That burger did look good! I don’t know if we have a Culver’s her in Vegas. But nice Cabelas has a campground and it does look nice. The one here I know you can camp there but sure if it has a campground. But it might. It’s next to a Bass Pro Shop and Casino. Very nice you git pup cup for Tucker at Culver’s. That’s cute. Five guy’s is best, Culver’s are more out west and I live in Georgia so when I pheasant hunt I always go by. The campground looked perfect for a day or two stay Cabela’s and Bass Pro are great! Y’all be safe on the road.

You mentioned your preference to 5 Guys? Unfortunately up here in WNY 5 Guys is by far the worst hamburger joint around. Grease, grease, grease, small portions and high costs vs the other popular hamburger chains. Too bad there are no Culvers near by, would love to try them.

We stayed at Cabelas last August. It was a great place. We drove into town to a local brewery. I remember we enjoyed it very much. Had great burgers but I can't remember the name. 😕☺️

Sorry Chris, Culver's > 5 guys. Freddy's is a good alternative if you see one. If Tucker's been real good, do this next time you're at Culver's: Order extra meat with your burger and ask them to put the extra patty in a separate box.

If we're staying somewhere for the evening and it's a little out of level we just leave it along. Once we get to a spot for a couple night or more we level it up.

We stayed at that exact Cabela's on our way back from Jackson Hole. We found it a great place to stop for the night What I remember most was the sunset... stunning. Never been to a Culver's but that burger looked awesome. If you remember and are traveling back home on I-80. You should stop at the Archway in Kearney. What a Kool place and really full of information. Hopeful to make the circle in Quartzite but till then, be safe and be well.

I think that Cabelas is the first ever that they built. I’ve been to that one too. Nebraska omg such a long boring flat state. For traveling it’s boring and it takes forever to get through.
