I'm surprised they didn't go tankless on the water heaters on new construction. In my 2019 construction townhome in New Jersey (5 years old), the furnace and tankless w/h have their own space behind double doors in the garage, all the way at the front. Also the kitchen cabinets looked low end budget quality, they look cheap on video. The bathrooms I don't like that they put the commode behind a door. That would make me feel claustrophobic going to the can. Also the pricing is way off. They're asking 322k on the 1150 sq ft. but for another about 500 sq. feet or 1.5x the sq. footage, it's only 356k. The cheapest one should be around 300k. The mid one should be around 335k. The lowest priced unit is actually the worst value. Didn't really care for these. And the HOA is high. I never seem to like DR horton properties in general. They just seem too cookie cutter and not enough design for me. And no walk-in closet in the master bdrm. on the mid priced one, that's ridiculous.

I hear where you're coming from, especially about the tankless water heaters and the space utilization for the furnace. It's a feature many are coming to expect in new constructions. The feedback on the kitchen cabinets and bathroom design is valuable too. The pricing structure you mentioned does raise some interesting points about value per square foot. It's great to have such engaged viewers who share their thoughts and experiences. Thanks for your comment

HOA is terrible. Buying a townhome is terrible. I’d rather have a home 6 feet apart than share a wall.

Yep, definitely not for everyone. That’s why I love real estate because you have options.

Holy shit! $250s for HOAs? And keeps going up for the life of the home 🤦🏻‍♂️. Sorry but these are terribly overpriced for what u get. Might as well be living in an apt for all those neighbors sharing the same walls. This is the worst plans, builds and pricing I’ve seen so far.
