Lucky you held off on geelong! i was of the same opionion before lineups but considering the 4 point headstart for gc now!

@@investorbet.sports Normally would take the ML here but with the conditions i feel its gonna be low scoring so that 4 points is a way bigger advantage than a normal 4 point advantage.

Regarding, over/under bets, Whats your opinion of dew? Sometimes in night games there is some dew which makes the ball and the ground slippery. Perhaps this is why the night games are trending to the unders?? Especially if there is no cloud cover and not much wind, the temperature will drop faster and might see some dew. Tend to see some Brisbane games get dew because of the higher humidity The weather report gives you a dew point as a guide but ive noticed its not always that accurate. Would be very interesting to see a history of over/under results matched with the temperatures and dew point.

Good question! It's most definitely due to that and the ball being slippery, and also because the lines don't adjust compared to if there is rain. Most of the time, a rain affected game will go Under the early line but once they move it it's more a 50-50. I don't have the temp/dew point data with each game but as a reference I used Marvel Stadium night games as it's indoor. This year at Marvel (1 over - 1 under) and last year was (8 over - 8 under) at night. However this season at all other venues at night 14 over - 21 under

As a follow up though for "Magic Round" in the NRL, from the past 3 seasons. NRL 2023, 5 Games I have had as 4 Game Under the TP, 2 favourite's won, 1 line bet roughie won, 2 roughie's won. NRL 2022, 3 games all under 4 game "form", I had as under the TP and 3 roughies saluted from 3 games. Season 2021, 3 more games I had as Under the Tp and 3 line bet roughies won. 2024 Says Raiders-Bulldogs, Rabbitoh's Cowboys & West Tigers Dolphins Games are all potential wins for roughies or line bet chances +15.5, etc...

Low confidence game but have to lean to Gold Coast as underdogs. Cats are very light on in the middle and up forward. Staying away from the overs as was initially mentioned as expect the Cats to rely heavily on a defensive game style. Suns forward efficiency numbers are low but with their defence being strong too, it's enough for them to win. They just need to avoid too many turnovers as they will get burned by Geelong if they do
