Just random picks and that disqualifies this video as factual. People be copy pasting unverified Wikipedia articles and others like you waking up and placing their town at position one if they so wish to. Other than population and administrative importance, economic activities and diversity are parameters to consider. For economic vibrancy, Naivasha is ahead of Kisii and Kakamega. Note that Embu, Meru, Nyeri, Kericho, Narok are in this list.

Population will never determine about a town or city. But infrastructures,buildings more so big and many story buildings ( out look) business circulation ( cash & investments) l.e e.g how many banks, real estate, mortgages, industries, companies, hotels,malls, super markets,institutions etc anywhere this is 1.Nairobi 2.Mombasa 3.kisumu 4.Nakuru 5.Eldoret 6.kisii 7.Thika 8. Meru 9.Malindi 10.Nyeri N/B in reality Nairobi (should include upto Kitengela,juja to Kenyatta road kabete and part of kiambu which is next to Nairobi that means Siokimau, Ngong etc and there’s should be forums to strict bad places like majengo which means Esili and kamukunji should meet with good story buildings and improve on estate next to town like city stadium, Ngara etc then Nairobi will big the best city in Africa ( note Nakuru beats kisumu on estates and kisii beats Eldoret on estates to the reality be careful with any town that could not be on this of many my list 20years back which means it grows faster)

Kenya is doing great e.g Nakuru is bigger than Kigali, kisii is well built than Mwanza though Mwanza is populated and has a large area coverage with population which means Meru is equal to Arusha and Kampala equal to Nakuru this show how the economy of Kenya is giant infact we continue with building spirit as Kenya as has shocked Africa let the government help develop kenya as an economicst tell the president that am crying about this

Let cities like Mombasa & kisumu work out on their growth in not so 20 years to come they be superpassed they need to put more efforts that means that there is a competition from my number 2 which is Mombasa to my number 8 which is Meru infact to be open Nakuru is bigger than kisumu currently and the growth of kisii is shocking

Stop downplaying Nakuru for ruiru. Ruiru is bedroom for people who work in Nairobi and its cbd is 5 minutes walk. Btw I don't think there is a stage for matatus plying to major towns in Kenya except to Nairobi, Thika and kiambu only. Tembea Kenya wacha kukaa ruiru estate.😂😂

Kisumu with 600000 people is the second largest in lake victoria basin after Kampala? Where is Mwanza that has more 1.2 million people and 4 million people in its metropolis? Kisumu can only beat Kisii in term of organisation and cleanliness but not economic, Naivasha, Malindi should be after Kisii...even Kericho is bigger than Naivasha ,Eldoret is way far behind in reality apart from having some buildings, army barracks,oil pipeline and Kenya Railways..the economy wouldn't even make top ten in Kenya..🧐
