Great view at the end. I assume you have zero chance of a mobile phone signal! Are the 'communal lands' what used to be the TTLs? Such a shame there's not much wildlife. We went to Matusadona and spent three days with a professional guide. We went to some viewpoints and he he told us that it used to be the case that you could sit there and see so many animals including rhinos. Being there and looking at an empty vista was painful.

Thanks and sorry for slow reply. Been in the bush for the last two weeks! Yes, not much chance of a phone signal. Yes, communal lands are former TTLs. And yes, I understand the pain of seeing less wildlife than before BUT Chizarira is undergoing a rebirth now. Wildlife numbers are growing slowly but steadily and I believe it can absolutely be restored to its former glory. Visiting it now while it's still coming back up is actually a great experience, because so few people ever go there. Once the wildlife is fully restored, the tourist numbers will also increase. So don't be deterred now. I'd say go for it!
