215 sqm for 8.2 M is very good value. Seems well done. On utility on some areas like the kitchen, design it with a space for a dishwasher machine adjacent to the sink, incorporate the microwave with the extractor. Did i see the fridge area in the kitchen? Just thinking space. The clothes washer and dryer surely are not compound items. Finally Sir, as an insider in the industry, flat roofs are okay and a customers choice, but this being a space game, whats your take on them? 40×80 seem to be a thing now, practicality is key, SQ and a small home store, a garden for vegetables too, 50x100 should be the least we can go in my opinion.

Very nice insight, The least Ideal size is always 50*100, 40*80 is acceptable but not not enough. Preferences are improving, we are getting there and developers are no longer rigid. This is a good unit 👊

This is a nice home for astrophotography. Location is amazing just for that. I can imagine pitching two 8 inch Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Cassegrain telescopes on that roof top powered by some ASI183MM cameras for deep space photography under a cold, calm and clear night sky. I'd use that room with a reclaimed window upstairs as space for the telescope's computer and place a small bed because with astrophotography, someone need to monitor telescope input, camera temperatures, wind dithering issues etc throughout the night. Tell us why a floor trap is needed in the cloak room downstairs btw...

Great Video. I would suggest that when indicating the price on the video title, you give the total cost including even the perimeter wall. This way if a person is planning to have such a house built and would also like to have a perimeter wall and other extras he or she can prepare in a better manner financially. Thank you

My only issue with this type of design is the lack of a landing immediately after the entrance It limits how to arrange the sitting area I hope this isn’t for all houses But generally a good house

....i like how you describe houses, printh area etc 😂...really uisng architectural terms and also giving a real idea of whats on the ground. My only issue is the use of MDF cabinets for such a good house. Lets get used to using good wood and good wood carpenters to fix cabinets on site. Not sure I saw where washing machine and drier would go (not outside). Truth is, in Kenya we dont need driers because our weather is fantastic esp for non commercial washing and drying. Still with no washing machine, hand wash still works. After all, water is still a huge issue.

nice but what is it with kenyans and metal grills? I would love to see a house that has embraced large panes of uninterrupted glass. I mean if you're worried about security put a good electric fence and build a beautiful house without those ugly grills. I even see houses in secure areas like muthaiga ruined by prison like grills
