I'm an older white woman that has been fascinated with Black hair. My wonderful kindergarten teacher (1971) had a gorgeous afro. Mrs. King even allowed me to touch the puffiness! Lol She thought it was funny a little white girl loved her dark skin (she looked good wearing any color, unlike me) and hair. I've never understood why natural hair, braids, or locks get such dislike / hate. To me, it's just a hair style. Your afro was gorgeous, as is the straightened hair style. ❤😊
