Not being from America and having completely different food culture, I have never tried a Lemon Pound Cake, this song made me curious about it so I found a recipe on the internet, baked it and I must say I completely understand Addams County sheriff's department and their actions, you left that delicious slice of heaven just like that on the counter for everyone to see, I'd also lie, cheat, steal, and intimidate just to get a small little slice while I'm high, that cake is stronger than morals

When I was 15, I went to an Afroman concert. We (me and some friends) were talking to his crew after the show...basically they wanted to know what restaurants were open. We told them only Waffle House. Afroman told us he'd pay and we could invite anyone if we wanted to eat. ..like 50 teens/young adults showed up and he still paid. He's a solid dude.

I spent over 30 years as a police officer. I have to say I love Afroman and his songs. His reaction to this incident is great. He made fun of the absurdity of the search warrant affidavit. He didn't call for violence or physical resistance instead he got the best revenge by Making money off of the Dept negligence. As for the officers I say that when in uniform behave as if GOD is watching and you will never be embarrassed by videos. I have been embarrassed many times I put on my big boy pants and tried to do better next time.

I met Afroman in '06 or '07. He's just as chill and friendly in real life as he is in his music and videos. His handling of this situation is the perfect response. I hope he wins the lawsuit the corrupt cops filed against him and continues to use the video of them in music videos for years to come. And I agree that Lemon Pound Cake needs to become the new slang for crooked cops doing crooked shit.

I think the most he would have to do is blur their faces, that or not make any money off the video it self. I think the poundcakes would have to prove that Afroman is earning money by using their likeness. If it comes to it, he could reshoot the whole thing with his house cameras and actors to play the poundcakes breaking into his house with a disclaimer like you see on TV shows that make fun of famous people. "Any likeness to any real world people or celebrities is a coincidence yadda yadda." With that said, I don't think he should have to change a damn thing in the video and that entire department needs to be investigated.
