Mistake we all make in Diaspora is that we get here and take care of everybody else but our investments. Truth is if we can first take care of ourselves we will forever be able to take care of others. Too many heartbreaking stories.

This is for anyone living in diaspora before you rent someone your apartment or house even if you dont have legal papers please do a background check whether there are kenyans locals or from any other country.

This is the most genuine story I have come across of a deportee. Huyu mama is so honest. Honesty is spiritual power!! I have been in the US for about 20yrs. I’m grateful to God for my status as a citizen. I however have had relatives who’ve had deportation and when they get back home they tell their stories very differently. They tell people what people want to hear. That’s s no help to others who may be facing the same predicament, and of course to themselves. I believe that when one is not ready to tell their true story to not say anything until they’re ready or not at all because they owe no one any explanation anyway! I applaud Harriet, and Atis( see Tuko/ A Moment with Justus) for coming out and sharing their stories, genuinely! It takes a great sense of maturity, humility, great courage to come out like this.
