Who are our enemies and our friends? Our first enemy is/was are amongst us. Past and present leaders ran our country like they are running a food catering business. Previous ones ate the food (money) and the current ones decided that the catering business can be shared with neighbours and gave away Karabagh.

I'm sorry but you're wrong you do have friends and you do have people who care about the survival of your culture. I'm American of Greek descent, i do not have any Armenian blood at all so if what you said was true i would have never even watched this video. Unfortunately most of the countries that Armenia is positively connected to the most are also small countries in complicated situations and i think that their unwillingness to come to your defense with things like the 2023 invasion is more about their own self preservation rather than not caring. Please don't think that because a government didn't act that means its people don't care because millions of people around the world that aren't Armenian do and one day that might count for somehting. Cheers to another 3000 years

Oh we know. When we speak of friends, we are talking about countries as a whole. In the grand scheme of things, countries don't really have friends, they have interests. However if we are talking about our peoples, we have been closely tied for centuries. The success of Greece is the success of Armenia.

Eric is talking about states and he is correct in saying that the Greek government isn't a friend of Armenia but when it comes to the Greek people and Armenian people - there is a lot of respect and friendship between them

Leadership/political will is what it comes down to, because if resources are no issue…we see no accountability, no ownership, no real Alignment to natural strategic course ( actions, policies) in current govt.

Pashinyan needs to speak with the diaspora about helping people from Artsakh. There is no formal communication from the Armenian government with the diaspora. Most Armenians live outside of Armenia like the Irish. The Irish diaspora helps Ireland a great deal. Armenian government should follow that model.
@TheFinex82
@TheFinex82 5 ай бұрын
Nikol Pashinyan doesn't want to engage with the Armenians from diaspora because a lot of them consider his actions against Artsakh treasonous and anti-Armenian! And I, from my side, fully share this sentiment.

diaspora's trust towards the Armebian government is very low so the effort has to be without its involvement. no one stops diaspora from contacting charities that help Artsakh Armenians and contributing to that, it's 21st century so you can get confirmation and evidence of how your donation was spent very quickly. if we want a strong society we need to have an agenda otherwise we are powerless.

In this region Armenia needs one big brother, we will allways need a big brother, and naturally its Russia , stop disrespecting the Russians , forget everything else for now , maybe in 50 years when we are stronger or have atomic bombs if our enemies decide to sleep the coming 50 years, look at Israel , with so much power they still need US and the rest of the west
@owlmirror178

Why not Iran as big brother in the region? You didn´t get that Russia is and has never been on Armenia´s side. Russia is not interested in an independent and strong Armenia. Who gave all Armenian lands to Turkey, Azerbaidjan? Russia is losing Armenia if Azeris get control over Syunik. Go look for a Russian gf be happy in rural Russia and change your name. Are you sure that in 50 yrs for now there will be an independent Armenian State or any Armenians will be left in this area? With this Russian elite in power definetly not!

Do you live in Armenia? If not, then you have no place to talk because the people here are tired of the stagnant rot that comes from being a Russian satellite state. Why do you think so many of them are running to the western world for better jobs and an actual hope for a better life? Can you show me one country in the Russian sphere of influence that isn't a stagnating corrupt shit hole? I'll wait… Surviving isn't enough anymore. We need to become prosperous and strong. And Russia doesn't like it satellite states to be strong. It likes them to be weak and perpetually dependent.

Yes we must diversify our economy, and we will. Aren't you tired of being isolated from the water world? Aren't you tired of perpetually being part of the poor countries club? Because as long as we are a satellite state of Russia, we will never get out of that club. And poor countries don't have strong militaries.
