You can absolutely cook beef like this. Why could you not? You don’t have to turn meat and churn it for it to be cooked. It just has to come to an internal temperature of at least 135 longer for less pink. But once it reaches that internal temperature in the middle with a temperature probe it’s perfectly safe to eat. Yes cooking like this will make the tortilla greasy but as long as you get it that temp it’s fine. You could do the meat like a pancake first then drain then add tortilla. But you can cook it like he did with the right temp. You learn the more years you cook.

@Princetheone.22 күн бұрын
The concept and arrangements seems very interesting 👌BUT I am afraid this method only gives us steamed meat and raw onions in it ‼️ One of the very first thing we learn in culinary School is “ No colour No flavour “ in order to achieve this goal we need Maillard reaction products (MRPs), chemical reaction between amino acids and reducing sugars to create melanoidins, the compounds which give the meat a distinctive flavour and unique colour also improve the umami taste, overall taste, and mouthfeel of peptides. So I would sauté and cook the minced mixture ( also browned onions not raw ) and do the rest of layering.

I would cook the meat patties first and then do the tortillas layers. Second options would be to cook the ground beef into crumbles and when cooked as some cheese for it to stick and then do the tortilla layers. It just depends if you want a Pattie or not. Yes, I agree with you! First, that's not high enough or long enough to cook that much raw beef safely and second of all, what happens when you cook beef? Yup, you get a layer of fat and grease which the bottom tortilla will sop up essentially making it a fat sponge (mmm yummy 🤤😉😅😭😳) I do likes the creativity and I see where they're going with this but id have to atleast mostly pre cook the beef and THOROUGHLY drain the fat. I would probably also make a burger sauce to either spread on/in it or to serve on the side to dip it in....but that's just me lol

Place a slice of meatloaf each on several tortillas. Top each with a shredded cheese of your choice and whichever herbs desired. Place the first plate of meatloaf slice+tortilla in the microwave for 30 sec. Place a warm flour tortilla on top. Repeat for each tortilla. Yah, meatloaf quesadillas without the salmonella and ER visit or ⚰️

Yeahhhh, we all know it gave him an upset stomach. There’s no way that beef can cook in minutes.

No way is the beef cooked all the way through

Why does he keep saying tortilla dough??????? It’s a tortilla! Tortilla dough would be mushy like uncooked bread

This isn't a "recipe" to share. This is when you don't know what you want to eat, so you just start throwing odds and ends and leftovers and bits and pieces of stuff into a skillet and sit on the couch to eat it while watching Jeopardy.

That onion was juiced, not chopped! And don’t get me started on the obvious elephant in the room.

Grating the onion was unhinged.

I remember as a kid when America was thinking of going over to the metric send. So they start at teaching us that in school. It's so funny to listen to these recipes in metrics

I'm sorry, are we collectively ignoring the phrase "tortilla dough" wtf?!

Change that recipe to “cook that meat first” before adding it on the tortilla. That meat is raw & it can cause severe bacterial infection.

That's a lot of trouble to go through with that onion when simply dicing it would be faster, safer for your fingers, create less mess, and give a better outcome than that wet onion mess.

steamed meat, burnt grease-soaked tortilla & rubbery overcooked eggs. Your stomach & toilet will never forgive you.
