India and France are negotiating a Rs 50,000-crore deal for 26 Rafale Marine (Rafale M) fighter jets. If finalised, these aircraft will be deployed on the Indian Navy's aircraft carriers, INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya.

We must go for Rafael fighter jets, France should grab the opportunity and set up a mega manufacturing facility in 🇮🇳 INDIA and for the world. Hope France 🇫🇷 will grab the wonderful opportunity for both countries.

Rafale must needed jet for MRFA for IAF this is an emergency for the nation, IAF does not have 30 squadrons at present while They need 42 squadrons.

There is some big igo to share space with the navy.... If they picked 72 rafales(including 3 sqdn of f5) with 26 ones for navy, capability gaps wouldn't be this bad. Glad people are criticizing to this depth.

Should buy 26 Rafale M + IAF 60-80 Rafale f4.2/5, with Indian mission capabilities --- both locally build & cost- optimised. And scrap MRFA, ditch import lobby, no brainer.

What kind of scale of economy 26 units either take 60-100 at least then go for higher class TDBF 400-500 Gen X. IAF number should be Rafael f-5 300.

Government of India and corporate sector should have form consortium to take majority share holding of Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Rolls Royce holding. With these we will have access to technology IPR supply chain production in India. Dassault Aviation has Mirage 4000 IPR very good fighter never operation but could be converted in fighter bomber. We should learn from Mahindra Tata other manufacturing company how to acquire technology IPR like land rover jaguar or Tata Chorus deal or see western world. Lockheed Martin boing Northrup gruman general atomic french naval amalgamation of multiple companies. Our defend PSU needs restructure and amalgamet building larger assembly line and Design Research Development Arm in global centre level mix of high end talent from India and abroad pio or experience people of foreign individual. Our best talent working for western asian countries.
