After Jabalpur & Delhi, part of canopy collapses at Rajkot airport

Part of a canopy collapsed at Rajkot international airport in Gujarat Saturday. The Ministry of Civil Aviation said the canopy collapsed during maintenance work. No one was injured in the accident.

Poor reporting. Here the canopy fas not collapsed. The tensile fabric is torn either due to mishandling in monsoon maintainance or wind pressure

Rightly said.Structure not collapsed.Only fabric torn due to heavy wind.Fabric will loose it's strength slowly due several natural factors such as wind, sun,rain,earthquake.No one succeed natural calamity People born, live and die

Every such incident should be investigated and incompetent people who designed or built these structures should be held accountable.

First MPs Jabalpur airports roof fell and crushed a car (the airport was inaugurated in Mar 2024), then Delhi Airports Terminal 1 roof fell and killed 1 and injured many( the integrated terminal was re inaugurated 4 months ago), and now new Rajkot airports roof fell( the airport was inaugurated less than a year ago). A newly constructed bridge collapsed just before inauguration in Bihar. In fact, 5 bridges have collapsed in Bihar in the last 9 days.
