The day didn't start so well. I went back to where I saw some juvenile tarpon yesterday and they weren't there, go figure.
So after over an hour waiting to see if anything other than ladyfish would show, I decided to go to a spot where I sometimes catch a snook or two.
After about three casts on the edge of a little mangrove island, pow, I hooked a juvenile tarpon. After a few jumps it got off.
I continued to cast along the mangrove edges and caught a little snook. It wasn't anything to brag about so I didn't turn on my GoPro. Just as I was getting ready to lift it out of the water boat side, A FOUR FOOT BULL SHARK took it and Glen's gurgler. That got my heart pumping!
Anyway I noticed some tarpon rolling a few hundred yards away and caught one and lost one.
I didn't revive the one I landed too much because by the time I landed it I was within 50 yards of where the bull shark took my snook and I was kind of nervous about keeping my hands in the water too long
