So that corner bit on the bumper is more evidence that the rear bumper is a bad design. The rear bumper needs redesigning cuz Ford didn't learn the lesson that Jeep had to learn, that is to put the license plate in a different spot cuz it will get caught and bust off in addition to the extra cost involved when replacing the corner. So if you own a Bronco just start saving your money for a aftermarket or custom bumper.

Generally, I like the Bronco. The tech features are fantastic for off-roading. Comfortable highway driving is commendable. Only detractor, which is significant for my kind of off the beaten path exploring, is the bulky overall size. I would either have to change where I go 4x4 exploring or cough up a lot of bucks repairing body damages. So, I prefer my nimble stock 2020 2-door Wrangler Rubicon over a stock 2-door Bronco Sasquatch.

I'm glad you posted a video. I was trying my best to find the day 1 video to see how much the Launch Edition cost because a local POS dealer near me tried telling me that the LE Bronco with the same exact options had a MSRP of 104,000 and used with only 2,000 miles it was actually worth 114,000. Needless to say I found a new strategy they're using...buy out all the new allotments of Broncos and Mavericks so that they can sell them as used at a higher market price. I told the manager to eat shit when he tried talking down to me last weekend saying that "maybe I shouldn't be looking at a vehicle I can't afford". I can afford a Bronco and that's what I wanted. I had a paid off 2014 F150 FX4 with book of a little over 11,000, about 6K to put down and a really long term job. Now, I have no interest in buying new and fully intend just to wait for a year or two for the market to cool so I can just buy from a private seller and pay in cash.

Ford is the one who backs up the warranty alongside with the company the part is made from, so ultimately its on Ford's team. The Bronco has been used more off-road than many would have taken a first edition out and it is performing well! I own a Badlands 4 door without the Sasquatch package and it performs very well when compared to the Wrangler Rubicon Diesel I had. The articulation is definitely not as good, but once off the trails, the Bronco is leap years ahead of the Wrangler for a daily driver. I’m not saying you can’t daily drive the Wrangler, the Bronco is just so much nicer! The parts costs are definitely in line with any other vehicles. The 2 hours of labour for the rear bumper is the “system” you are held to when getting work done at the dealerships!! Even if they were done in an hour, they charge 2 hours because that’s what the book says!! It’s a rip off. I agree with Tommy. It would have been a very reasonable DIY to replace the piece. The cost to the manufacturer for the shock replacement was quite fair. It’s a while strut assembly and the alignment after should definitely be done. As mentioned, you felt the vehicle was out of alignment at the time anyways. One of the hazards of playing off-road harder than most, the vehicles need more mainstays they wear quicker. Just a fact, but be prepared for that. My Bronco has been similar to the TFL one in that they replaced both front struts under warranty. Probably a bad set of seals when the shock manufacturer was producing the parts. It happens, isn’t exactly Ford’s fault, but reflects on the vehicle nonetheless. I have the hard top and have not really had any noise issues, but am getting my hardtop 2.0 sometime here. I’m in no hurry as I’m not having issues. I have not had the HVAC issue that TFL is having. I have not had any other issues. As much as I took the Bronco off-road and to its limits (the skid plates can attest to that!! Hahaha) I didn’t exactly buy it for that, it’s mostly a mall crawler and I really just like the looks of the vehicle. I really wish I had gotten the 2 door though. They look SOOO much better than the 4 door models in my opinion. I may switch to a 2 door Sasquatch package model in the future if my buddy gets one in that the original order is rejected by the prospective buyer. It won’t be too much of a cost difference. In fact I may spend a little less and almost get my money back on the Bronco anyways!! Many of the 2ndoor Sasquatch models are ordered ina trim much lower than the Badlands trim. Something Jeep could learn about!! Give people the option to even have a rear locker (!!!) and you may sell more product overall vs holding them hostage to the Rubicon models for lockers!! Even now the Xtreme Recon package is only available on the 4 door Willys or Rubicon and only with the wheezy 3.6. Offer that in ANY level and with the diesel,,,,,,. That would be a nice package! I had the diesel Rubicon and loved that powertrain!! It was a bit expensive, but performed well. Why don’t I have the Rubicon anymore??? I’m fortunate and fickle. I change my vehicles a lot!! There’s no other reason. The Wrangler 4 door Rubicon Diesel was one of my favourite vehicles I have ever owned!! ( I had to say this because the last time I hacked on Jeep’s marketing, I was verbally attacked by some butt-hurt Jeep fan that didn’t know much,,,,,. Truly!) I mean it that it was a great vehicle though. I still like my Bronco better though. Daily driving, loading up with my wife, the dog and a bunch of gear for a week at the cabin and it is much nicer than the Wrangler for all of that. Thanks TFL for continuing to try out the newest and the greatest!!! This year’s lineup of vehicles is very impressive so far!!! Well done!! *** Now,,,, helping out the Ronald MacDonald house is excellent!! Switching right from the comment Roman made to a big picture of “Your balls will love you.” ,,,,,,,,,,, *** While hilarious!!!!
