To me, this is the best of all the old clips. Shorty George was the man!

The shortness of life. I find it kinda sad that all these good people are all in their graves and everything we see from the furniture to the clothes have all returned to dust. 88 years have passed and even the building their in may have already been demolished. Life sure is a Pip.

The dancers are brilliant, but it's the musicians who steal the show

Fantastic. Where would America be without Black American music and dance? Just Lawrence Welk junk. Thanks DanceFamily.

I’m no expert, but isn’t the MC doing what is now named “hard style”? Emphasizing toe-heel foot slides. Peak popularity was around 2013. Comments please.

you are right, there are a lot of similarities to hardstyle dance! You can also look up some Charleston videos and find similarities to hardstyle, I love the evolution of dance!

House also has a ton of moves which are similar. Nothing new under the sun, we have 2 arms and 2 legs after all, the possibilities are somehow limited :)

I don't understand the "first foundation" -- this is the first sound clip maybe? People were doing this on film in the silent clips before 1929
