My gosh it happens so fast! Im so pleased youve recovered well. Blessings to you. Ive had 2 falls and fortunitly apart from some scraps and hurt pride, I was ok. Osteoarthritis in one of my hips, can be painful at times and Im only 63!

I found out the hard way not to wear clogs for a quick run out to the car if you're going through snow or water, and coming back in the house to cross linoleum. Even my not slip work shoes were a hazard if it was wet. Your dance was beautiful. I so wish I was on the trip with you. Well, maybe someday before I'm gone.

Sorry about your fall. Just a tip. When I feel off balance and still want to dance I do what my bestie Teri taught me Chair Dancing! I also do chair yoga sometimes in morning. Stay safe and have fun...

Glad u are ok...the ground is hard...i took a fall feb 15th out walking at nite and tripped on uneven pavement. I kissed the pavement face first...scraped my face knee and bruised my shoulders...i laid there sprawled out not sure i broke anything. I got up and hobbled home. So I can sure relate to your fall on the concrete. Enjoy your travels. I am happy for you and proud of you for traveling like u do. I am 62 and just want to do the same. 😊

So glad you are feeling better! An OBGyn once told me an easy way to stimulate bones in hips is to stand on one foot for brief periods e.g. during tv commercials. This exercise also helps strengthen core muscles which may help prevent falls.

I'm so glad you're getting better. You're right, older women will understand you better. Your family might go to court to be made conservators, and yank you off the road. My kids would take my license so I couldn't drive. That's what my brother did to my mother because he said she was too old to drive. She was an excellent driver, and wasn't even 75 yet. He just wanted the control, and he wanted to be sure she couldn't do anything by herself. Older women will understand if you want to handle the illness or injury your way. Not everything requires a mad rush to a hospital. We should have the say over our own bodies and be able to do what's right for us. Keep on telling it like it is. Enjoy your travels. I wish I could be there with you and the butterflies.
