God, I so love this jam! I am a 76 year old white dude...in 1979 I turned 34 and was totally into EWF, Tavares, Ohio Players, Barry White...and tons of other similar bands. I know it's physically impossible to go back to the past ( so, far ); the closest things to a time machine are recorded music and photography ( still and moving ). Each day I travel back to the best era in sound that ever existed, and I don't even have to leave my computer!

@@palootto4021The music stations on the fm radio where listing some music as for back people or for white people back then so you had a radio station that played disco , R and B for black people and an other radio station that played rock music for white people .No lie, but still there were white people that listened to the music radio station for black audiences and black people listened to the rock and roll radio stations graded for white people but that changed that all changed on the radio waves about 1979 and or early 1980s and then the radio stations started to play a mixed list of music of R and B and Rock on one station called ( Magic 101.5) in Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA;that was the frequency on the radio dial. I hope I explained it correctly and I hope you explore the wonderful world of radio history .

Ahhh, grasshopper, you missed the two best decades for music with premier talent, the 1960's & 1970's. Earth, Wind and Fire's blockbuster album was released in 1975, "That's the Way of the World". The 80's were good and 90's were ok, but each decade saw the talent level dip, now it's just an edgy name & look and bingo, you've got a contract, real talent is way down the list of requirements for a band or group. It's all about the money.

My Brother and his best friend use to sing their songs along with many other groups like the Stylistics. They could hit those notes, they sounded just like them. They're all psycho chicks....every one of them. The main reason she wanted out was probably her relentless insecurity, and she wanted to see if you'd beg her to come back....just a power move is all....one that destroyed a marriage. Ooops (I guess).

A tip for your life: You don't have the slightest idea - worse than mourning a person who died, is mourning a person who is alive and doesn't want to see you anymore. This is one of the most terrible feelings you can experience in your life. You love the person with all your might, but the person "doesn't love you anymore" from one day to the next, and maybe never loved you (how is that possible? I don't think a robot is like that, but 99% of people are like that). How to deal with it? Some people do. Others don't. Others just go crazy, get sick, just like I did. Wherever you pass, you remember that you passed with the person there. If you watch something on TV, you remember that the person watched the same thing with you. You listen to certain songs and... well, here I am in this circle that has been going on for almost ten years, feeding my "personal black hole". Word of advice: you are NEVER, EVER loved like you love. Be a robot: deliver only what you receive, and nothing more. Living this kind of frustration kills, dismembers 90% of you. You turns a zombie. Do as I tell you, and stay in one piece. Every new person you meet, think of it this way: It's not real. It's just a business.

After the love is gone. It's like futile to try to bring it back. It's better to forgive and forget. Then everything works out for the best. Had a hard time accepting that but, I did. Just move on. God bless you and your family. Amen.
