I love his coverage of current chess (of course) but Antonio is really at his best when he dives into history. It's what separates his channel from the others. He's a great storyteller. Looking forward to Steinitz.

I learned computer programming on a telex machine at my high school connected to a local university's DEC PDP-11 minicomputer. Programs were stored on punched paper tape. Until fax machines became affordable in the late 1980s, we used telex every day to communicate with Asian factories.

One amazing thing about this game is: The whole game played around how to capture the double pawn, creating weakness on other sides of the board but with that intention in mind. And yet the double pawn was never captured
