My instinct was shouting Bc4. And I did see the idea of going after f7 pawn to open up the diag for the bishop. But, would I go for that in an actual game? Probably not! It takes incredible patience and proper calculation to play Bc4. Monkey Mind wins over the heart for non- GMs like me😅

The series Sarah conner chronicles has a chess game. With a queen sacrifice to win. Then the computer morphs into skynet. Rather good show actually. River is in it. The perfect girlfriend.. Oh got off track. 😂

Create...yeah today i created missing it and getting checkmatedin one, thenmycreativity getting outplayed, then being "creative" with the clock and -what a surprise- losing on time. As for the game i am not sure if its the way you presented it, but it is rather hard to believe. Usually a good move forces something specific or results in material gain, but this seemed a positional calculation and whats more one that involved the other side not having a move. Which seems hard. Because you have to check all the possible moves and see that merely by moving, the other player ends up giving you an advantage. I always disliked that about chess. If there's to be such a thing as a draw, then why is it not an option to not move. And if the other player declines to move a piece too, then its a draw. It seems fair, but i suspect they have looked into it and although it sounds fair , it probably is anything but fair. Thank you agad and yeah ok maybe the kid got bullied but it seems to me it hurts one way or another, and besides this looked like the chess of old at the time of Fisher when the Russian chess players were particularly good at sucking the air out of the chessboard, suffocating/strangulating the opponent. Still i wonder if David actually calcullated all this or just as others have opined, just bullied it, went with a hunch /instinct 0:09

On 10:10, or similar positions, u can just take two pieces for your own queen and up a piece. Right?

I symphatize with Ju. She was pushed out of preparation by 1. ...d6 and felt a bit downhearted. I played 2. g3 in such position, too. Us and Russians = 220 millions, and understand how unnoticeably white can end in zugzwang just. 1. ...d6 is cynical move, played by people who rely on their technique and play Philidir or Old Indian Defense, just in order to bore to death their opponents.

This is simply another case if mass hysteria: black could've trade queen for Knight and Bishop on and win on the base of 2 pawns extra.
