He didn't know if Jaime was gonna get up from that or not.. He was swinging to end the fight obviously. He was just playing it smart and not over commiting so he didn't get countered.

The right cross is what really hurt Mungia, you can see he was on shaky legs before that tremendous upper cut lands to put him down. Canelo's boxing IQ is top notch, setting up traps and landing counter punches that ultimately work as an investment for that big shot.

Munguia was throwing desperate shots, Canelo was throwing precise and on target shots that hurt Munguia, got his legs shaky until the uppercut rattled him and knocked him down. Canelo was confident, Munguia was over-confident.

Canelo isn't the fighter he once was, but he's all business. After he dropped Munguia he didn't waist a second getting back to his corner for the count to start. No taunting & self congratulation. He's got an iron jaw & he keeps coming at ya. Munguias a hell of a fighter, but he just didn't have enough power to bother Canelo.

To watch good fights you have to look on you tube in the 1980 we’re everyone fought everyone. If they lost they got did not cry and complain and blame everyone but themselves. Por eso dicen que Canelo pelea con bultos, ha vencido a muchos campeones del mundo invictos haciendolos ver mal. Munguia es super talentoso, con una pegada suprema, invicto, pero Canelo terminó no solamente dándole una cátedra de boxeo, si no cuidandolo para que llegara al final y no arruinarle su prominente carrera.
