*Ron Fair* is 66 years old an old Jewish white guy that still still produces records. Hes one of the oldest Record Producers in the music industry that's still currently active as he just got done working on a song for Keisha Cole. Hes like another Quincy Jones that can write out the charts on manuscript and conduct the orchestra. Well known songs hes produced and arranged the strings for is Black Eyed Peas - Where Is the Love?, Mary J. Blige - Be Without You, Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles etc.

Yes as well as Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis but Ron Fair is actually the oldest Producer that's 66 years old. He just produced a song for Keisha Cole that was just recently released. He reminds me of Quincy Jones that can produce the old school way working with session musicians and write musical arrangements on manuscript and conduct the orchestra. He said he can write music but can not read it which is pretty mind boggling.

You're never to old to produce records because Producers work behind the scenes. 40 year veteran Record Producer *Ron Fair* is one of the oldest Producers in the game that's 66 years that's still active that's produced all Keisha Coles stuff, Mary J. Blige - Be Without You, Pussy Cat Dolls and Where Is The love ft. Justin Timberlake. He's a Record Producer, Arranger, Conductor, Recording Engineer, Executive Producer, A&R, Record Executive, former chief officer that ran quite a few Labels. Babyface, Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam are also closer to Ron Fairs age still active.

Age is all about how you feel you can never compare people that are the same age, if you're still alive and still have the drive you still have a reason to strive. Be blessed because unfortunately people today don't live to see 20's and 30's anymore, that's why it pays to listen to people with wisdom because you might learn a thing or two.

46 here...didn't start making any real money in music til 32 and didn't start touring internationally til 34. THANK YOU for saying this! It REALLY needs to be said...it seems like ageism is the last socially acceptable form of discrimination, esp towards females, and its utterly absurd, esp considering what life expectancy is now. Ppl are living well into their 90s these days... And I also loved what you said about wisdom. I would add its not just wisdom regarding your craft and making money, but also emotional wisdom in the form of self awareness, not taking things so personally, being able to regulate your own reactions w the right self talk, understanding how to read ppl and knowing how to communicate effectively - this is worth its weight in gold esp in creative and business situations.

I'm 32, started writing music in high school, never really tried to write a hit, I just like the mental exercise of writing music.

I really appreciate you doing this video. I just turned 28 and started really taking this shit serious less than a year ago. I know I got what it takes but this really boosted my confidence further. Much love!

50 and making the sweetest, dopest, coolest productions of my life. Physical aging sucks, but I friggin' love getting older, IME everything gets easier and better when you're wiser and established.

I've been hustling and about to hit 30 this year, finally starting to make some decent money doing this but it's still a long road, at this point I'm just trying to be the best possible producer and musician as possible. I figure if I'm really really freakin good, then there's no real reason I shouldn't be able to make a living doing this. I got sober and have been dedicated to sync licensing, music live streaming, gigs, video production, and more. It's been exciting watching things slowly come together and I'm happy to hear that my age isn't gonna keep me from getting there.
