I married an older man. One downside that nobody has mentioned is that you will be a younger widow/widower. My husband died five years ago. I'm still experiencing sad days. I could sense there was something odd about Sir Benjamin. Doing a Wikipedia I found that he had a colourful past, strange demands for potential wives (you think asking what star sign a person was is weird). He already has a daughter, but being a chavenist, he wants a male heir to pass on his estate. I'm sure his daughter must be so happy knowing that she isn't good enough because she's female.

My husband was 20yrs older than me and I never noticed the difference. I adored him, as he did with me. We were married for 34yrs and I treasured every second with him. He passed away 3yrs ago and I again am completely devastated. Age is just a number. I wish you all well and be as happy as I was.l. Will never marry again. 15 or 16 year difference in age is not an age gap relationship. In most of the rest of the world this is the norm.This is so stupid!!! This video shows how stupid the west is. The sooner the west destroys itself the better the world is. Just look at the number of children born to single mothers in the west (and how the percentages have grown). Just look at the divorce rate (and how the percentages have grown). Just look at transgender culture (and how the percentages have grown). Just look at homosexuality (and how the percentages have grown). The west is a clown show and yet they say 15 or 16 years is an age gap relationship. The hypocrisy is ridiculous.

For everyone rooting for this Benjamin guy: he has already conceived a child with Sahara Sunday Spain. Violet was born in 2021. A girl. He has since pull back on the wedding with the mother at the last hour, and so far refuses to have a relationship with the daughter, which he hasn’t seen and gives only very little money to the mother. This is a despicable person of the worst kind. Just for everyone to know.

A parent's worst nightmare is their 20 year old daughter bringing home a 50 year old man. My friend's younger sister did that and her Dad refused to give blessings because he felt the guy was controlling. He was generous and bought her stuff but he decided what "luxury" was appropriate. She would pick a destination, e.g Spain to go on holiday and he would say he'd been there many times so they should go to France instead, oblivious to the fact that she was young and hadn't experienced what he had.

A parents worse nightmare should be being with a 20 something year old that has nothing to offer their daughter! If he can take care of her financially - that’s huge. So many of these young men today are not growing up and won’t contribute to society. As a 50 year old- I surely wish I would have been with older men and not the young idiots I wasted so much time on! They are broke and abusive most of them.

Both look same age, I. E you'd put them in same decade for sure. They seem nice. She need to get a move on no. 2!! The years fly by. Best have babies young, 20,early 20's my Nana used to say. I honestly think it doesn't matter what reasons people date for. As long as it makes them happy. For some people money is all it takes to be, for some they need a nice arm candy to be happy. I could write a story on my colourful life! Been with a rich older guy, Was branded gold digger by someone i worked with too! Despite people's judgements we had great connection and banter, we just didn't marry otherwise I'd be very comfortable! I'm now starting over in my 40s and its harder! I think older men probably treat younger women better probably because they mature later in life, just my experience. Love life is usually more satisfying than a young guy who wants a casual conquest then move on!

AmericanPrimate, I found out that music and food taste are the great equalizer when someone is older or younger.Sense of humor for me wins it all the time. do not be afraid to try to go out with younger or older than you.

@@soilgrasswaterair funny thing is is that I am qualified as an assistant nurse and I am about to study a diploma in enrolled nursing. So nursing is not a problem for me. I actually like caring for people. If my 50 something year old husband takes care of me then I am more then happy to care for him in his old age…. Also, men my age are out there partying and chasing younger women. I am also at risk of being abandoned by a man my age for someone younger in the future. Happens all the time

I’m in an age gap relationship of just 7 years but even that seems like a lot sometimes. When we originally met I was 15 and he was 22 and obviously had no attraction to each other. Many years later when I was 22 we met again and fell in love not knowing we had met so many years past. Now it’s really weird to think about our original meeting and we tend to not tell anyone how we actually met. I promise he did not groom me, neither of us recognized each other for many months into our relationship. Now I’m 25 and he’s almost 32 and it’s starting to feel more and more normal but I do often have moments where I’m reminded how much more experienced he is than me in certain things. Many times it’s a good thing because he teaches me a lot but if he didn’t have the right intentions it would’ve been really easy for him to control me at a young age. This makes me fear for many of these girls who get into these age gap relationships in their early 20s.
