Here in the American South even after the end of slavery children were raised by the “help.” I don’t think there was any love lost from from parents unless the parents would have been less than loving with or without a nanny. They were family members. I have friends who were raised by them and their memories are enviable. These women usually did the cooking too. Of course they didn’t have charge of tutoring or transporting or any of the other things in this video. Also I didn’t hear any mention of boarding schools which to me are far worse than Nannie’s and still prevalent in England.

I think a lot of mental issues are related to a Vitamin D deficiency. More recent studies have been pointing at how much more Vitamin D supports...not just for the bones and not even just the immune system. Apparently, on top of actually being a hormone that greatly affects behavior, ALL our cells have Vitamin D receptors. I think the daily amounts they have been recommending for so many decades is much too low.

in the case of the man and woman, being married myself I understand what can distance a couple. Personally to me now it takes a spiritual decision in Christ that also binds us together. There are many variables in marriage, Forgiveness is so much better when Jesus is involved in our lives, agape love enters into the equation. I can say that as far as the Sudanese men forgiving one another, if neither knows the Savior and His power to bring in the grace to forgive, it would be almost impossible to forgive in the natural. I don't buy the older man's complete lack of seeing the torture at the time of when he inflicted such pain on the boys. But than again since I never experienced being a monster, in such an environment than my thoughts are obsolete here. The Sudanese men who experienced such horrors can only be given the benefit of the doubt as to how they finally respond. I hope the young man forgives, because the Lord will give him all the grace he needs to press on beyond such a choice. The older man has to live with the regret, hopefully he will turn to God also, only the Lord can give him the grace to forgive himself, even if others do not forgive him.

I’m not understanding something here. He’s disabled. He should be on Medicare. I just looked it up and Medicare is good in any state as long as a hospital or doctor excepts it. Which most hospitals would accept Medicare unless they were a private hospital.

This video taught me not to judge a book by it's cover. The man started by speaking about BLM and the hipster f***got decided to get triggered and I was immediately able to ID his views - He works in digital marketing. Go figure. And then people wonder why the world is so effed up, it's because a-holes like these are designing your racially motivated propaganda.
