This is a blast from the past. I still had my old mic, camera, and computer when I recorded this. I believe it was in Dec of 2020. So almost a full year ago. I don't know why it took me so long to do it, but I think it was because it's such a different movie for this channel.
I was off the heals of Titanic and searching for similar movies. I avoided watching this for the longest time because it was listed as a 3 hour run time but it turned out that like an hour+ of that was behind the scenes footage in the end.
I loved this movie. Blake Lively made Adaline come alive. While the immortal story has been done many times, especially with vampires, this was an entirely new take. It approached what it may be like to be immortal, alone, and with no knowledge of why you are the way you are. Lively was able to so convincingly play a woman who was 102 and the score was phenomenal. I've listed to the soundtrack several times now. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
And if you're one of those people that says you don't like romance movies I just have to ask you why? Have you ever introspected on why you don't? That's all I'll say about that...
As always, enjoy!
