Yeah, American revolution option, with its own outline and bonuses, has been kept for those civs.

@@zweihander1557 The problem with germany is that the devs summarized Prussian and HRE in one civ, HRE had a very different ethos toward warfare, economy and politics and they had their own "federation" system (Prussia could get access to Holstein, Saxony and Hannover as Austrians have access to Croats, Hungarians and Italians, by example)

@@caspramio I think they should add a building to the German faction called "Reichstag", which was the gouverment building in the HRE and even later on, where soldiers from the whole empire could be recruited like Prussians, Hessians, Hanoverians etc. and they could research unique technologies.

Dude, the French have courier de Bois. No other civilization has that kind of unit, a worker that doubles as a infantry unit. Plus the curassier. It starts out a bit to me.

i hope they revive AOEM on a Definitive Edition style, maybe adding some more mythologies ( Babilonian Mythology, Celt Mythology , Aztec Mythology, you name it the game is still very expandable)

Agreed. Adding the U.S kind of screwed up the campaign factions. Not to mention the U.S would have a PERFECT campaign on its own!

It doesn't bother me. I'll still gladly play the base civs when skirmishing the Maltans, Mexicans or Ethiopians.

I don't play Age3, but I feel like at least Brazil would be stretching the time period of the game a bit too much. Although I'd love if there was an Age5 based on the late modern era with Brazil as a civ, but it's too soon to think about that.

Probably the only one if I had to guess. Not gonna lie I would never have thought of adding the U.S. As cool as Brazil could be I think they need to keep from making revolution nations full on civs. The African expansion is a good move though.

Aoe2 is unbeatable. aoE 3, while a tad different, is still good though.

If anything, this should wipe off Britain's American Revolution option off the board entirely and replace it with something new. Maybe as Jacobites or Fenian Irishpeople?

The Aztec empire was a pre-colonial state. Japan was never colonized during the colonial era. Both civs are in the game. USA was actually founded during the colonial era by revolting against a colonial power, effectively meaning they were colonized. They went ahead and colonized the Philippines. They belong in the game more than the Aztec. African civs would be far more appropriate than either the Middle Eastern and Asian civs you mentioned, as both continents already have civs in the game. In fact, the only Middle Eastern state that was a colonizer during that era (the Ottomans) is already in the game. Your preference for Middle Eastern and Asian civs is really off. Makes one wonder why.

If you want to base the game on strictly colonization, then the Aztecs were conquered and colonized by Spain. I wonder why you did not include the Haudenosaunee and the Lakota in your argument when they were essentially precolonial civs, too. United States? You mentioned that USA was founded by *revolting* against a colonial power. You said that exactly. It's already been represented in the game as a revolution, right? Now that US has become a full-fledged civ, does that make revolutions in-game rather pointless? Not just USA, but also the other revolutionary countries. They might as well make those like Mexico, Brazil, etc. full-fledged civs, too. Yes, there already are Asian civs in the game. But are they enough? There's no Korea yet. No Southeast Asian civs. You say China, Japan, and India are already enough? There IS already a Middle Eastern civ. Yes, Ottomans. But is one enough? What about the Persians? And maybe the Omanis too. One could argue Berbers, though that's better included with the upcoming African expansion. Your opposition to adding more Middle Eastern and Asian civs is really off. Makes one wonder why.
