Haha, I guess the AI has improved since. But actually that happened to me before in this version, just not in this mission I think. It also depends on converting from far not being too close to villagers.

@@Rtheghost The distance didn't count for me. I tried that just in case. But as long as there were a group of them, even if I didn't see them, I was fucked. Every single villager swarmed and molested my Pope. It does work when they're somewhere alone, or if they're currently building something. I'm just going to cheat myself through. Fuck this. I wanna enjoy the game, not worry about some buggy crap, or intentional assholery.

@@sirius4k if it's this mission you're playing in that version it's very bad that they wouldn't make it easier to convert. Are there different difficulties there too? This happens regardless of it?

@@Rtheghost I was playing Standard. There's also Easy, but Standard should be totally doable. I mean, there's two more difficulties after that. Are they going to kill you right at the spawn point there? :P And I just finished Greek campaign, which was quite ok on Standard, for me.

Yes that's also a good idea. With the hardest difficulty and red relentless attacks it's hard to manage everything

It was still a pain if the pope didnt convert the yellows villagers in time. I failed several times, because it was not fast enough. Seems like the RNG also has impact on the situation.

It's one of the hardest missions in my opinion, because a lot depends on luck with the conversions... but try to focus on only one of the enemies first.

Thibaut Larroque the time to convert is random I think... if you try to convert someone they will focus attack on you so you need to defend the priest or cancel the conversion and run 😉
