She seems absolutely delightful. She's so talented. Also, anyone else mesmerized by her eyes?! I never noticed how shockingly grey/blue they are. Kinda adds to her mysteriousness.

Between her & Emma Ruth Rundle are both an emotion of the light, dark, doom, & gloom side of life. It's like gothic americana rock. Love both of their dark, magical, mystical souls. 🐸🤓😁🤘✌💖💚💋🌹

I saw Chelsea in Arizona - October 19, 2019 at the Crescent Ballroom and... it. was. MAGICAL. One of the best shows I've ever attended, I prefer small venues due to the intimacy between artist and audience. Thank you, Chelsea, for such a beautiful night... hearing your voice was like being in the presence of an angel, so achingly gorgeous.

Man, what a great interviewer you are. I've been dying for someone to step into the creative process with this band for some time now. Short of seeing Ben develop a synth line/fill from scratch, as well as some producer tips (next interview please?), you've done exactly this, and I applaud you for it! A great piece of advice from Chelsea: just keep focusing on Your Sound, pay no mind to "the musical trend", whatever it may be. Chelsea/Cathy, Ruben may have a few unreleased recordings (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oK9jm5de2LmVnKM.html), maybe they can be released? If they're as good as "Winter", they should be! No idea who her dream collabs are, but I hope: Trent Reznor, Bjork, and Ghaal from Gorgoroth :)
@lavendergilly58433 жыл бұрын
Bjork would be so cool
@lashtal3 жыл бұрын
@@lavendergilly5843 I can't even *imagine* how incredible that would be. Have you heard/seen her song/video "Gate"? It blew my mind, the sounds they were pulling on that track... But hey, we are in luck! Ben posted a video of himself getting to know the Moog Matriarch synthesizer. If you love their music already, this is THE SYNTH that will take their sound over the top. I was so stoked to see Chisholm on that thing. Hoping it makes it onto the next record!

Great album. It's strange, with me a mediocre show got me into such amazing music, fear the walking dead introduced me to her song carrion flowers, and since then I have loved her music. She's everything Amy Lee ever wanted to be, and she reminds me artists like lacuna coil and nightwish. Except in my opinion, she's much better. Her music always helps my moods and physicality, if I'm feeling sick, then I'd pop on one of her albums and let the music essentially heal.

Chelsea is so great! Thanks for the interview. "Age of quarantine" is a bit much though. Will people ever stop over reacting to this virus?
@billyalarie9293 жыл бұрын
nope. not as long as people keep under-reacting to it. i for one am going to continue to fret over this whole thing, as long as i have a disability that makes it almost impossible to feel like i can exist in a semblance of harmonious head space while these clowns are taking this thing in stride.

I stopped reacting to it the minute I heard about. Of course I would still be considerate of other people and constantly dress up like I'm gonna rob a bank, but I still lived my life normally, or if you could call it that, at some point in time you get so fed up by all the bad news from all over the world that things such as pandemics just become one more thing.
